I am having trouble looting. I typically use giants and wall breakers with some barbarians. But do not get much loot. loot. Any strategies. Here are my troops. lvl 4 barbarian, lvl 4 giant, lvl 1 minion, lvl 1 healer 1 king first level. Everything else level 3

Look for people with 250,000+
When I was TH7, I did a LOT of barching. Just look for people with full mines/pumps!
... I can't take someone seriously who says "mid maxed" TH7. What the heck is "mid maxed"? You're either mid or you're maxed, and you're a mid TH7.
Carry on.
Use the army composition BARCH. Stay in Silver I-Gold III. I'd say attack any base that has at least 200 000 gold/elixir. Keep in mind that with farming strategies, you're trying to look for collector bases that rely on the collectors being full so you can take a lot from them instead of having to break into the core, which will require a more costly attack to do so.
In case you don't know, BArch is Barbarians/Archers, you don't need anything else, even spells unless you need the cups. I recommend more archers than barbarians, so if you're maxed out, use 110 archers/90 barbs. If you don't have full army camp spaces try to keep more archers than barbarians. As well, try not to spend your dark elixir until you've maxed out the barbarian king. After you've done so, you could throw in few minions but I find it really pointless, as BArch gets the job done just as efficiently.
Maybe its just me, but how can you tell if the enemy mines are full. I know mine has a gold coin or elixir on it to harvest.Quote:

When you're attacking, if the enemy's box looks like it is filled with gold, then there is a fair amount of gold in there. Same goes for elixir, except it's easier to tell. it's just how full the elixir collector looks. There's a glass compartment-like thing that stores elixir until the player collects it, so look to see how full that it. Keep in mind, though that if the mines/collectors are not full, or look slightly filled, then the gold/elixir may still be hidden in the storages. As well, a filled clan castle can hold lots of loot, so keep that in mind when attacking.

The only problem with this though is that if the defender is maxed, and doesn't need his/her elixir, they are filthy rich with elixir, but the gold may not always be full. I see what you mean, though as elixir is always easier to look for than gold.Quote:

As many have said, use Barbarians and Archers. If its possible, have 1 barrack training barbarians non-stop and the other 3 barracks training archers non-stop. For me I do use wall breakers and I recommend you to use it too, since some mines and pumps may be hidden behind walls. Hit dead bases as mentioned and you should be able to get at least 300 000 loot a day:)
