My current neighborhood has a lot of players who no longer are playing--hard to find people in towns to bring to mine, and so on. Now that we are between derbys (derbies?), I am going to switch, hoping to find a more active one. I am level 67, looking for a NH with at least a few high-level active players.
Can anyone suggest a good NH with space for me?
We are a newly created neighborhood, "Twin Bees"!
Here we need a lot of Friendly, Active, and Chatty players to help make our community lively.

Our derby goal is to be ranked within the first three places, so everyone please makes sure that you are taking tasks with the minimum score of 250 (while I and another co-leader, our lovely Mumoo, will try to pick task having score over 300 to help boost the overall score up).
Other than friendliness, help, and your effort to win derby, we do not expect anything more than FUN!

We’re an English speaking NH with members around the world. Would welcome new players in the India/Asia time zones to help balance out round-the-clock play. Request to join with a minimum level of 45. We currently have 13 players levels 50-89. The leader and co-leaders all worked together in a previous NH. We know what it takes to build a winning team and want you to be a part of it! At the same time we like to have fun, to chat and help, to create a welcoming and open atmosphere of friendship and camaraderie. Everyone is a valued member of the team. We keep the drama at bay in favor of fun and active help.
Here is what we are seeking and PLEASE read and understand these before joining hood.....we've had people join from this thread and then do absolutely nothing to help in NH! Those not pulling their weight are removed from NH. We want this to be a good match of members to hood!!
1. Come to chat! Even if only to say hello and see what others need. Chatting is a vital part of working together!!
2. Offer help as much as you ask for it.
3. Be passionate about Derby participation. Do all available tasks, each over 300 points. Purchasing additional task with diamonds is entirely up to you, certainly not mandatory but definitely appreciated if it's a close race! Leaders are constantly updating the board, trashing tasks under 300. Opt out if you know you will be unable to participate that particular week.
4. We actively help and sell to one another (full price is fine, discounts at your discretion) but true trading is discouraged. Have seen way too many fights over trades and no one needs that kind of bad juju. It’s a game!!
5. Have a love for the game and have fun in the hood!

OP here--I need to clarify something. I enjoy the Derby and take on tasks and so on, but I am not looking for a NH that requires me to play a certain way. Sometimes our internet goes out....and I can't play. Sometimes I get busy with real life, and only get to the game once or twice in a day. I enjoy HD, but it isn't my whole life. So in terms of the derby, if you have rules about how many tasks you must take on and what is the minimum number of points, and so on, that's not going to work with me. I am looking for a NH with active players who keep their RSS stocked regularly, help with boats and watering, and have a community feel to them. "If you want to join our neighborhood, you have to play the way we say you should" won't work.
My present NH is in the Expert League and we only have about 6 people who participate regularly.
Woot Valley is an international neighborhood of 17 members (level 20-109). We are currently in Expert League (6 gold, 1 silver, 6 bronze). There is a 310 minimum on tasks and we have a flexible Derby strategy, some weeks we advance and sometimes we hold and just go for horseshoes.Quote:

2 Men went to Mow is looking to add 2 or 3 new members to a mature friendly atmosphere.
Currently we are 9 strong and are looking for helpful chatty people.. Must be English speaking and lvl 50+ ( moveable for the right person :) )
Our leadership is U.K based and the hood is currently a mix of U.K and U.S members.
All we ask is you do ALL tasks at 300+ and that you opt out if you can't compete that week... There is no pressure to use diamonds for an extra task.. It's your choice!
We are competitive and of course would like to be top 3 every week but it's not the end of the world if we don't!

You would be welcome to join Hay Star neighborhood. We are 27 daily active farmers level 45 to 118 who love the derby and helping each other. We have no rules but are in expert level league and will do 8x300 task per week all we ask is you say hello and request to join. All new members will be promoted to elder when they join.
