How can i use lvl 5 barbs?

I dropped 300 trophies (puts me near the bottom of gold 1) because many people have told me my base sucks. I'm gonna work from there, upgrading to all crystal walls, then work on defenses. I also think a strong offense would be helpful, so I have lvl 5 barbs training in the lab! Either I'll get an iTunes card to speed it up or wait it out.

What's the best way to use these suckers? My clan is pretty exited that they are on the way. I'm thinking I use Giants, WBs, a Healer, then the barbs to clean up.

Im assuming you mean you mean bronze, 300 is bronze not gold, and 3,000 would be champion so yeah. Barbarians are not meant to be used along. They can be used as a meat shield.

Experiment and see what happens. Nothing bad will happen if you try 10-20 different troop comps for research. My guess is that lvl 5 barbs can replace giants in giant healer combo up to maybe lvl 5 walls, below that maybe you don't need a healer.

no I dropped 300 trophies, not dropped DOWN to 300 trophies. I dropped to Gold 1.

In Gold 1 I would use Barbarians to distract defenses from WB's/Archers or to clear outer buildings to let the other troops get the goodies inside.

They're good as a secondary wave behind a few giants. Giants take the brunt of the splash fire then barbs do good dps and are additional tanks for wall breakers and archers against point defense. I like using about 30-40 barbs, and 8 giants, then the rest archers and a handful of goblins.

Barbs are great in combination archers and wallbreakers. Having said so, each base type requires a different troop set-up. In our clan we discuss this a lot. Also, ur attacking style is another influencing factor.
