Private messages and donation history

Hey fellow clashers,

It happens so often, you are in war and some is asking for a golem or lavahound or something. You made the troop and you want to donate it, but just a few moments ago someone donated a few wrong troops, but the one asking for it wasn't online to see who it was. Now you have to wait till the requester is coming back online and remove the wrong troops from his clan castle. I would really want to have a donation history so I can see who donated me what, or at least that the co or leader could see it. It also would be nice if we get a private message system so we can talk to people in private. This way we can talk to friends in other guilds or talk to people in your clan when you don't want the entire clan to know it.

Im really surprised that the game doesn't have these features. Doesn't sound so difficult to make it happen.

The problem you seem to be having is more of an internal thing, as opposed to a game mechanics thing.

Now granted, having a donation history would be useful if there is someone who is consistently donating the wrong troops, but it's something that a clan needs to manage itself as opposed to relying on the game to tell them who the weak link is.

At the end of the day, the best clans are the ones who manage their members in a way that this sort of thing doesn't happen very often if at all and that would be a thing that makes them stand out. The donation history would just be cutting corners and would reduce the effort required to run a strong clan, so the ammature clans will be just as well off as those that really try and put lots of effort in.

In terms of an internal PM system, I am also surprised that the feature hasn't been added. But it's been suggested multiple times before and nothing has been done, so I'm sure it's for good reason. Possibly for the same reason that I mentioned for donation history, or because a smartphone or tablet won't be able to handle all that info on top of what it already has to deal with (especially older models).

But most good clans use messenger apps from outside of clash itself, which would work better than any PM system clash could implement anyway, so it's not a huge problem IMO
