Clan Ban for war deserters

Good evening / afternoon/ morning everyone so I was scrolling through the forum and got an idea.

Called ; Clan Ban


Clan Ban is for those who desert their clan during a war preparation giving an advantage to the enemy team as your clan has 1 loss of a member getting rid of 2 attacks. Which no clan likes when people desert them during a war preparation having a loss and a bit of a chance to lose the war.


So people who leave during war preparation and or battle day should get "Clan Banned" preventing one from simply joining another clan in a 24-48 hour period (1-2 days) .


This can help prevent spies from the rival team coming over to see where everything is at , at your ally teams bases.


I know this is a quickly made idea but if you Clashers have any ways to remove the cons and get more pros please comment.


Tell me your thoughts because desserters are the worst. And I know I'm not the only one to agree.

This is a game about stealing from your neighbors and you want to take the moral high ground?

It's just to make clan wars fair. Instead of having deserters coming and joining wasting time when new members who join request to be apart of the war and are serious about having a nice war .

Stop letting new members do clan wars. wait until they are trust worthy. If they don't want to wait, you don't want them in the clan. They aren't in for the long haul. Plus, even in a 10v10 war, it is pretty easy to make up for 2 or 3 people leaving. just work together. And IF you are having 2 or 3 people leave every war, there is an issue in the clan. Do people leave mid war in my clan? Sometimes. But very rarely, maybe once every 20 wars. Deserters aren't a problem, it is poorly run clans that cause deserters.

They do leave during it. Our clan is more then enough fair. Ou rules are more fair then ever. We aren't strict one bit. Leader is beyond relaxed and we have other Co leaders to help out the leader to run the clan .


Desserters need to be punished plus your clan may not have desserters but doesnt mean plenty other clans have the issue.

Bad idea. What if i want to visit family/feeder clan and then want to come back to do the attacks?
We should all accept there is no way this issue can be solved. U just need to be carefull who you put in wars and thats it ;)

Your clan has deserters because it sucks. I don't mean to be mean and I am not saying that to hurt your feelings. You need to spend some time in a good clan to see how they are run. Rules aren't supposed to be fair in the beginning, Make them unfair. Make everyone keep a 2-1 donation ratio, then weed out the ones that can't. Miss an attack in war = kick. Attack too high for loot = kick. Can't respect donations = kick. You have to show people that you are serious and want the clan to grow and get better. The leader cannot be relaxed. They have to lead. They have to tell people what is up. Once you get established, then you can relax. but that takes months. And at that point, you wont give a poo about deserters because you wont have any.

It isn't Supercell's problem to fix your clan, it is yours. Now go do it.

I just personally feel we should have a Clan Ban. - 1-2 days during battle day to end the loss of people to attack. People join , wait til battle day, leave , leaving us 1 man down or if not more. Their should be some sort of thing to resolve those who leave and clan hop.

Based on your post above, your issue is clearly a clan management issue. If you don't have strict rules regarding war and who you include, then of course you are going to have problems with war deserters.

As you were already told, don't allow new people in war. Make sure they are in yoir clan for at least several days before you put them in a war. During that time you will get to know the new player, see how well he /she donates and get a sense of whether you can trust them.

Everything else you said I 100% support, but having all your clan members keep a 2-1 donation ratio is beyond tough (and I think mathematically impossible, but don't quote me on that).

If you have a bunch of people with 2-1 ratios in the clan, I think there will have to be others with a much lower ratio just based on math. In our clan we don't expect our lowbies to have really high ratios, because I (as a maxed TH9) don't really want their lvl 2 wiz or lvl3 barbs anyway. We expect these people to donate to OTHER low members when they request, throw the occasional troops up top (when a donation has sat unfilled for too long) and mostly just keep farming to upgrade. Oh, and the most important thing is to not gripe/whine when I toss you level 6 archers cause I'm barching and it's all I have in camp ("You're TH6, lvl6 archers are going to OWN anyone that's attacking you!").

Your TH10's and 9's should all have 2-1 ratios, and your TH5's should be the opposite. That's just how we do things anyway, other clans probably have their own rules...


{And to the OP, it's fine, there is absolutely no need for a "clan ban" option. If you consistently have problems with war deserters it's your clan that's the problem, nothing else.}
