I am a near-maxed TH7, and I have never spent money on the game. The game has been getting tougher with only 3 builders, and I have 503 gems. I was considering buying for more builders. I can either spend $5 for a 4th builder or $20 for a 5th. I would love to not spend money at all, but I might if it's really that beneficial. What do you think?
I got my 4th builder at the start of th7, I'm now about 50 walls off being a maxed th8, and let me tell you, 4 builders is awesome, I bet that I'd be town hall 9 by now if I had 5. I'd say go for the 4th builder, the 5th is up to you.
I heard that sometimes with the 5th builder you don't have enough loot to keep him active. I think $5 is reasonable enough.Quote:

you know, if you're patient enough, completing those awards and clearing those bushes can really boost your gem count. I only have 3 builders too, and I know it's quite tough as those upgrade time gets ridiculously high, so you might wanna consider getting the 4th builder by buying gems. Yeah, go ahead and support the developers!

get the 4th and 5th builders as soon as possible...if there's anything in this game worth spending money on its the builders!
I will get my fourth builder soon, for free. By focusing on achievements, i will have 1010 after finishing friend in need (3k more) and unbreakable (2.5k more.) i average about 5k donations per cycle and 200 defensive wins per day, so about two weeks more.
