I don't think that would work very well... Since you need to deploy troops/spells, zoom in/out, nexting, collecting resources, surrender/end battle at the right time, etc etc. not gonna work very well...

^ it would take time to use the controller to do what you want when. It would be to slow. It just wouldn't work.

A very long time ago an extremely popular PC game was ported to try and expand the player base. It was a catastrophic failure. That game was Starcraft. Now, Starcraft and Clash are very different games. But the principle applies, some games cannot live without the interface that certain platforms provide. Without a mouse and keyboard, Starcraft was nearly unplayable. As too would be Clash.

Couldn't of said it better . We need certain things.
Such as how would we be able to deploy troops as quick on consoles? Like we can do it quickly without the previous troop(s) getting destroyed quicker while trying to deploy others.

Would the movement speed of the camera be a bit quick?
