most people who engineer war bases don't have large clans and don't really advertise.
They usually have at least 3 accounts and frankly stock the clans themselves once they have 3 or so players with engineered bases and people who can actually attack well

I have helped my members to engineer bases that are - not as extreme as minimax - but close... I personally have a lot of experience with this play style... Using these type of accounts allow us to have low war weight - high attack power - and we win a lot of wars...
As long as you mix in a few ' real' solid players up in the top - with heavy normal defenses who can hold up well against attacks...
it is a balancing act for sure...
Lots of weight calculations happen in our - 6 clan - family...
I'd say 15% to 20% of our players are minimax designed across the family...
40% of them are in Nightmare... along with a couple defenseless accounts.
