Efficient Farming

I have been online for 5 hours and I have made 3 million gold and most threads say i should have made 6 million gold! Currently i am a th 9 hanging around 1350-1400 using 100 archers 100 barbs and 10 wb and my loots are almost always 200k gold using only 1/2 of my army, yet my farming still seems to be inefficient. Does anyone know how I could farm better (better armies, etc...) BTW I raid when my army finishes training and is full and my current setup is pingfao's TH 9 TTP ehich no one ever gets any gold from.

Remember that a lot of people probably lie about how much loot they get per hour so I wouldn't look into it too much! A lot depends on luck too as to whether you come across the 'amazing' bases with all the easy resources readily available! I would say your doing pretty well so keep it as it is, and maybe with a few lucky raids here and there you could increase to an even greater amount.

If u wana go fast... Go fast and boost them barracks, but i say pace it on ur upgrades and save some for walls. Do what ya want

Some people do lie but this information (making 1.2 million an hour) comes from trusted members of the community and my clanmates

People enjoy exaggerating their loot per hour averages, take the numbers that people claim with a grain of salt.

Using Minions barbs and archers can help increase your loot per hour also, 6 barracks over 4 barracks is a huge improvement

3M in 5 hours i guess you're doing great.

If you wanna be sure just ask them people some records of their raid if they actually farm 1.2mil nobody except them can help you doing the same.

Here is how you do it.

Army comp:
You want to go with the quickest viable army possible. I usually take 10-20 minons, with the rest being split between barb/arch (gobs also work here if you prefer). AQ is key as well. I use her 5 or 6 times an hour when farming. Shield her with barbs and let her work.

Target:
Don't search for targets based on the gross numbers. If a base has 200k, but you need your whole army, SKIP IT. Yep, don't hesitate; just skip it. Search until you find either a premie TH with lots of loot (300k+ usually), a raid where the loot is in collecters (most common target for me) and raid those instead. The key here is loot per troop. If you only need to spend 50 troops to get 100k gold, that's much more efficient than using 220 troops to get that 200k storage raid. Basically, you speed raid in this manner.

Trophy Adjustment:
Doing the above, you will tend to lose many many trophies if you don't do something. Common ways to adjust your trophy count for this are:
-Snipe exposed THs with heroes every now and then.
-Go ahead and get 50%/destroy Th on raids where it isn't going too much out fo your way.
-Put your TH inside.

These are the keys. Believe me, it works wonders.
