Your Best Raiding Force

Hey community,

Just wondering if you'd like to share your raiding force. We will base everything upon a 200 troop storage. I'm currently at 1300 trophies with a level 8 town hall.

Should I run low on resources, I train 10 wallbreakers, 30 archers and 160 barbarians. I always use this with a healing spell. This is by far the most versatile force I have ever used.

If I'm going for soemthing fanciful fun with a pinch of fun, I use 3 Pekkas, 16 wizards, 20 archers, 30 barbarians and 10 wallbreakers.

And if I am looking for a definite win, I use 30 level 5 balloons. (This is because 2 balloons can take out a level 6 archer tower in 1 hit.) The rest will be filled with archers.

What do you use?

I'm th7 and farming at 1200.

I use 8x wall breakers, 20x giants, and 72 archers. 180 troops max.

this will last me 2 raids on preferred base designs, or ill use 2/3 on a more difficult base. But never use all. I rarely go for 3 stars though

I'm th8 farming at 1100 - 1300 cups, lvl 52 with 200 troop capacity.

extremely high success rate!

I am at th8, xp 60 and I am farming around 1000-1200 ts count, and I use:
barbs Level5 60
archers Level5 70
goblins Level3 60
wbs Level 4 10

I drop few barbs and behind them few archers and then WBs and then second wave of barbs and archers, and if needed more wbs. Occasionally if I see need I also use the lightning spell which is at level3 (but this is very rarely).
most of the time I get 100% loot but always over 80% loot, before I had level5 barbs I was using level4 giants (10-12)

"Almos allways a 1 star win" is not good in my opinion. If you are farming, (which I assume you aren't) no stars is fine as long as sufficient loot is taken, according to preference. But 200 archers, with no significant loot, and poor trophy intake...is so bad it make me think you are trolling....(especially with bases where every defense unit one hits your archers, and level 5 mortars are placed correctly)

I get this attack stratergy done to me alot, and they never ever ever get one star. Having maxed level defenses for th7 just utterly kills level 5 archers, ESP when spread out around my base.

12 wb, 20 giant, 28 goblin rest of 200 archer all level 5
dragons and pekkas i only make if i have too much elixer without purpose
but i find that if elixer is low and u dont care for trophies u can cheaply raid with almost only goblins if u select the right base, for example when elixer is high but storage looks empy then all elixer is in the collectors

Kay Moses. My troop capacity is 180 and I have a TH 8. This is my farming strategy.

I attack with 8 giants, 10 wallbreakers, 80 goblins, and 50 archers.(All level 3) They cost me about 25-30k elix.

I find a good spot that allows all the defense in the base to focus on my giants. When I find it, I bring all of em in. Normally, I would have 3 giants in my Clan Castle, so I send them in too. I send the wallbreakers to help them. Then, archers on isolated buildings, just so I don't lose trophies. Then I put the archers down around the base, to help destroy the defense while they are all focused on my giants. When the giants finish off the splash damage buildings,(wizard towers, mortars), I send all of my goblins randomly around the map near to a resource collector/store, and when they get all the gold, I end the battle. I earn about 5-10 trophies, but about 100k each raid.

That's it, if my troops were level 5 and I had more space, I would conjure a better way to farm.

But, for my 3 star success rate, 15 Giants, 10 Wallbreakers and evenly divide the rest into archers and goblins.
Send one giant in, then break the wall, then send all of them. Meanwhile all of the defenses are focusing on the giants, Look around for exposed defenses and use 5 archers to take them down. when at least 1 mortar is down, Finish the wizard towers off. Then send all the gobs in, because all the splash damage (mortars and wiz) are taken down. Then just watch till the whole base falls.

That's it. :)

My raiding force usually composes of 80-90 barbarians and 30-40 archers....

Usually, I 2-3 star someone, but if I'm just trying to get their resources, I usually manage to get one star.

1. Send in one giant
2. Send in 3 or 4 wallbreakers .
3. Send in about 20 barbs
4. Release about 10 giants and support them with about 20 moderately spread out archers.
5. Send in about 3 wallbreakers on the other side.
6.Send in another 3 giants supported by about 20 archers.
7.Spread out remaining archers around defences if necessary .

The most common troop set I use is 12 Giants, 12 Wall breakers and 64 each of archers and goblins (all level 4), I haveTH7.

It's quite easy to train these troops since you can set all 4 barracks to produce 3 giants and wall breakers, and 16 each of goblins and archers. I usually set 2 barracks to train giants and wall breakers first to replenish while I am raiding, and the other two to train archers then goblins first, agaiin to replenish and for clan donations. Since having to wait for 3 giants and 3 WBs to finish would take 12 minutes.

My strategy us to use a couple of giants as a distraction either side of a point of entry with the wall breakers. Drop the giants first to get the attention of the towers, then set the WB loose, most of the time the giants will filter in and start attacking the towers. Same again if there is 2 layers of walls. I drop archers kind of sporadically at points, but normally to take out towers faster, and anything like builders huts that are in corners or out of range of towers.

I drop goblins in bursts of around 5-10, timed watching when mortars land, since I hate losing a bunch in an ill timed rush. Sometimes a lot of goblins work nice agains walls (when theres no mortar or wizard tower) they rush in a wreck everything.

If I'm after trophies which is rarely the case, I wouldnt use goblins, maybe a few barbarians and more archers and definately a healer to guard a group of giants.

At the start of a battle, I usually deploy, say, around 10-15 archers to take out buildings unprotected by defenses. One archer for each unprotected building. Then, if the mines/elixir pumps are outside and filled with resources (You can tell how full it is by looking at the animation), I send in mobs of Barbs, supported by archers from the flank.

Once I destroy those resources, there may be something useful, such as filled up gold storages inside the base. If not, I stop, because there's no reason to use up my entire army for a completely useless objective.

Thats when I try to destroy the wizard tower, if its outside or in a corner. I use mass barbarian raids, concentrating all my forces on one area, hopefully to overrun defenses before my army is destroyed. It follows up with small groups of archers providing effective support. Usually I end up 2-3 starring the opponent.

Ur opponents must have ♥♥♥♥ defense mate.
Only good for th6 below. When facing decent base with 3 mortar lvl 5 and wizard lvl 3 u ♥♥♥♥ed.
I always repel 200 archer raid or 100 archer 100 barb while lost only 1-2 tower max.

200 Troop max:

100 lvl 5 Barbarians
100 lvl 5 Archers

Swarm a corner section of someone's base. Only works if you do the corner otherwise the troops attack all different walls and they get cut down by mortars.

I release them in waves of 25 at a time starting with Barbarians. The last wave I usually let out 50. I get 2 stars 100% of the time and 3 75% of the time as well as 90+% of their resources for a troop cost of only 30k elixir / attack.

Edit: Im town hall lvl 8. This also doesn't work well with lvl 6 / 7 mortars as they one shot your archers.

Im farming for 1250 since i am already 1500 and still lvl 29 :D

I love using balloons for going for trophies, but I advise others not to use them unless you have Level 5 because Level 3 and 4 Air Defense along with Level 7 and 8 Archer Towers take them down easily.

I'm not really farming though because I'm obsessed on trophies - sitting around 1500. If I really want to win I deploy 12 balloons, 12 giants, 9 wallbreakers, and the rest archers. I have level 4 archers and giants, and soon level 4 balloons.

I'm TH level 7.

However, lately I've tried a strat with 1 dragon, 12 giants, 9 WBs, rest archers and it works well. Strat is to let 1 or 2 archers on stuff outside of getting hit, send in the giants on both sides where the air artillery is; get those down. Then send in the dragon. Archers from time to time to support but the lot of them when most offensive weapons are down.

If I was TH 8 and had level 5 barbs and archers I'd likely go with swarm effect and go with just them and some WBs to expose one corner and overwhelm.

If I had 220 troop I would do 5 WB at level 5, 3 level 5 giant, 50 level 5 wizards. For trophies of course, it will be an 200 goblin spam attack if it was farming. 50 level 5 wizards will be an super pekka, they have loads of hp too. I have no problem with most towns except ones that I don't think clearly enough.

Its also part farm part trophy too, since I need some profit out of all those costy troops. Might be troll with profit too

th9 level 72 and nearly getting 220 troops, ATM I have 200

Alright, so I'm level 50 with 1500+ trophies TH7 and 200 troops capacity.
Many times I use:

10 Wallbreakers
2 Lightning Spells

Otherwise I use some of these depending on budgets etc.:

I believe as long as you get can 2 Healers with Many Giants and some wallbreakers you're guaranteed to get something.

10 lvl4 wall breakers,8 lvl5 giants,50 lvl5 archers and 100 lvl5 goblins or sometimes half goblins and half archers

I take

12 wb's
79 archers
79 Goblins

I use as few Giants and wb's as possible to get to the resource and then grab it with Goblins with archers taking any collectors dotted around

3 dragons, 15 giants, 10 Wallbreakers and rest archers.

I can only hold 150 at the moment and I'm sitting at 1100 -1200 trophy range. I tend to go for:
1 healer
6 giants
5 wallbreakers
15 goblins
rest barbarians

I only recently started using this but it is actually very very efficient. Just gotta find a town with little or no air defense and very bunched archer towers or very distant. This way you can send in the giants as cannon fodder, sneak the wallbreakers in and get straight in there, then back the giants up with some barbs,deploy the healer once the nearest defense against her is out, then the rest of the barbs. The healer can hold almost all of the troops at max health for the 2 minutes of battle, providing they're bunched so you don't have to worry about splash damage. Then after a few more defenses are out i spread the goblins around exposed resource pumps/mines and gather the rest of the good stuff. Had a 2-3 star win on every town i've raided since using this.

works every time, its overkill sometimes, but i don't really care, i don't take this game seriously enough to have a well thought out raiding force :p and i usually keep searching til i find a 150k gold and 150k elixir camp, which takes a while sometimes but is worth the effort

I got a capacity of 185 and I usually use:

12 Giants lvl. 4
10 Wallbreakers lvl. 4
115 Archers lvl. 4


First I go for the exterior defense buildings with archers at one side, mostly at the strongest defense spot.
While the defense buildings are distracted by archers i send in 5-6 wallbreakers right after the mortar hits in so the wallbreakers will survive. they are going to bomb a hole in the outer and inner wall structure and then i release my giants to take out the most valuable part of the enemies defense.
when this has happened i normally start spamming archers or i repeat these steps to take out the remaining defense buildings. in the majority of cases this is the right time to lean back and chill while your army flattens the town and achieves 3 stars for you.

I have TH 8

I use the following:
12 lev5 giants (3 per barracks)
12 lev5 wall breakers (3 per barracks)
remaining troops 50/50 lev 5 barbs and archers
rage spell/heal spell if needed

I drop giants to get attention of defence. I then use wall breakers (usually not all needed) and the giants go in. I then follow up with sequences of barbs and archers to mop up and get res.

I have dragons and healers but havent really used them as they take too long to train and use too much space. I'm upgrading them and might try them later.

Th lvl 6 120 troops max use 3 wizards lvl 3 3 archers lvl 3 and 21 giants lvl 3

The above is about 100 housing hits. I keep twice as much in camps and barracks are building constantly to maintain the ratio. I usually attack 4 times in an hour and the other 50% is held in reserve if the initial force is getting beat up.

And finally either 10minions for a quicker attack or I wait out the time and add a healer and 3minons instead.

As for strategy I pick a side of a base I want to attack, make a wall of about 60 barbs then drop all giants behind them finish rest of barbs, wizards behind that, wait for air defence to be taken out, then finish by dropping the healer or minions. I would say 4 out of 5 times I 100%. It cost approx. 60k for me and take 31 minutes if minions are used over healer

All I do is train barbs and hit next until I find a farmer and take out there TH easy as that. Sometimes i'll bring gobs to get some extra resources from the mines and pumps. :)

Farming Resources I roll the following : 10 -lvl5 Giants, 1-lvl3 Healer, 6 wall breakers, 48 lvl5 archers, 48 lvl5 barbarians and the rest goblins.

I am lvl 64 TH8 farming the 1200-1500 trophy range. This may not be the best for farming but it does the trick for me. It takes about 24 minutes to train them.

Revenge attacks against higher lvl players: 16 lvl5 wizards, 1 dragon, 2 healers, some wallbreakers, and rest giants (about 15 depending on how many wall breakers). This army is pretty stout and can really dish out the dps. The key is to get air defense out of the way for the healers to stay alive long enough for the giants to penetrate and distract while your wizards and dragons go to town.

For farming i use 12 level 5 giants, 60 level 5 archers, 20 level 5 barbarians, 5 wb's and 30 goblins. for overnight training and revenge and donations, i would train 6 level 2 dragons and 15 level 5 wizards.

I'm relatively new to this game. How do you control what units you use and what targets you want them to go after? When i train troops they go into the camp as and when they are ready, meaning that i can end up with no wall breakers or balloons and loads of the others when i search for an attack. How do you select what units will be in your attacking force? Can you force them to pick on a specific target or do they just go after the nearest thing to them? I only have max 105 troops at the moment.

My Troops are :
11 Minions, level 2
14 Giants, level 4
2 Healers, level 2
40 Archers, level 4
10 Wallbreakers, level 4and
20 Barbarians. level 4

200 Housing spaces with 20 minutes training time.

My Farming zone is 1200-1600.
Just 1 week TH8

I always look for 3 stars. My loot is 150K-300K each gold and elixir.
When I'm TH7 my loot is around 200K-400K each.

I use
103 Barbians
80 Archers
8 wallbreakers

I always make a profit on with this strategy and I always gain trophies. If your a farmer, this is more effective than a mass goblin raid becuase goblins are alot easier to kill. They are like underpowered barbians. This army get through walls and gets to the collectors easily.

1 barrack archers
1 barrack barbarians
1 barrack goblins
1 barrack with 8 wall breakers, and the rest goblins

Occasionally might add some minions if I'm showering in DE :).
