Does not look like a healer to me, but looks like one with a cape! So maybe the first flying Hero, possibly themed with the new Eagle defense.

My guess is that the new hero is wizard-based. You can see the staff and spellbook. He seems to be wearing robes and/or a cape. If I were designing it I would call it the Archmage. I would enable it to store dark-elixir powered spells which it could use in both offensive and defensive modes. I would have made its upgrades cost regular elixir to balance out the need to 'feed' it dark elixir for the spells. This would be similar to the way that X-bows cost gold to upgrade and elixir to charge and the way that Inferno Towers cost gold to upgrade and dark elixir to charge.

Yeah this would fit, but it really does not match the style of all the other units in the game. For me this looks like an archmage and I guess compared to the queen who is fast and shoots fast, it is a slow ranged unit with slow shots.

But it could be completely wrong the the book and staff or one weapon that he is carrying on his back and the nose is part of the helmet.
