How many of you suffer from your new members not reading your clan wall donating lvl 1 troops to the war cc? This is infuriating is it not? I propose that there be a setting much like choosing to have a clan member participate in war or not. Where the CO can opt the clan member in/out of war cc donations.
SC aims to promote teamwork so i dont think this will happen.
We get clan members that cannot read the language because they are from a different country, how about having the text translate to their current language so the communication can be achieved? There are other games similar to this such as game of war where there is a translation option so that different languages can communicate within the same clan
I dont think that this is possible, just tell them not to donate or just remove the donated troops.
How about an option where the co can remove donated troops from any clan castle during war, while in the preparation period? Often a clan member is not able to get back on until after war starts and it is too late to remove troops that were mistakenly donated and can only be dropped by the individual member
Dont you think that players have the right to decide what should be in their Clan Castle?
Yes I feel they fully have the right to decide, for example they will request a dragon and we'll get received 10 level 1 barbarians. Because we had a member that did not read English or could not read so they were donated by mistake
I'd just recommend donating all the Clan Castle troops at the start of War Day. What if the leader was on vacation and the only co-leader in the clan decided not to donate?
When the member logs back on after war has started they are upset because they did not receive their dragon, for which I would have willingly donated but after someone donated barbarians I was unable to remove them and give the requested troop
That is a great strategy for which we strive but it is not always possible and often and unknowing member beats us to the donation and gives an unwanted troop
Perhaps this just has to be an acceptable collateral damage
I think war donations dont need any tweak.
What my clan does is we fill Clan Castles in the first 3 minutes. All the donors are online and we give Dragons at the war start, that way we don't recieve any other troops. After Dragons are donated we just fill them all with Archers.Quote:

I understand, just figured when a co can make a bold decision as excluding or including someone in war that they may also be able to make a much more minor decision on if they can donate troops or not
This will probably be an unpopular opinion, but no, I don't think that individual players have the right to choose what goes in their clan castle. If someone wanted healers and wallbreakers, they wouldn't get them because it is bad for the clan. As long as the request seems to be in the clans best interest, then yes, it should be requested, but war cc troops are not the same as regular cc troops. You don't get to use them, they are a defense that benefits the entire clan. The same thing goes for war bases with purposefully bad layouts. Your war base isn't really yours, it belongs to the clan; but it is your responsibility to keep it relevant to current attack styles. (Don't agree with me, you won't last long in the clan. And that is fine, but I don't have problems keeping loyal members (many for over a year). These ideas are popular in clans that keep the clan first and the individual second).Quote:
