ummm no. maxed players like to trophy hunt and they like to level up their xp
1. Players would not be unmotivated cause like now you always try to get the next ABILITY of your hero where it really matters, every 5 upgrades. It will work the same way past level40 but to get a 1 level upgrade. Don't forget that we are talking about increasing your heroes level past 40, making him very strong. You cannot make it fast cause that way no base could be effectively defensive against them.
2. If the trophy hunt is enough for the th10s, then why do people keep pressuring for a th11 and new upgrades. If they were happy with the trophy hunt, then we don't need a level11 townhall. But the real thing is that trophy hunt is not enough.
i believe that the hero upgrading idea is a good idea to start with. The details can be adjusted by supercell.
i had not heard any real negative issues regarding the hero upgrade. Someone said he doesn't want to waste so much time for such little upgrades. But that is the point, you will exceed the maxed level40, it's like bonus and it will reward those that continue to play the game, in the long run.
And besides, if I play the game for 1 year and I become maxed th10 and you play the game for 3 years and you are maxed tier10 aswell, there is nothing separating you from me, nothing to show for your belief in the game. With this idea you would have a higher level heroes, which would also help even more in your attacks in comparison to me where I would have level40.
the idea is all about, continuing to keep the older players interested in game and keep them highly active like they used to be before turning maxed level. Also to reward them for playing the game for the longer they play.
Since you cannot choose both, successful clan war attacks should be more interesting than useless hero upgrades. This idea only benefits gemmers.
Gemmers always profit from the game since they use gems. Since the game allows gems. All the games are like that, wake up.
But still I ask you, what do you do with the elixir and the gold and the dark elixir as a maxed th10? What do you do with it? Nothing, absolutely nothing. There is nothing to use it for. Your storages are always full and nothing to do with it.
With this idea, not only you get to use your dark elixir, not only you get stronger for randoms and CLAN WARS, which I agree clan wars is what matters and what is most interesting about the game, not only do you reward players for playing the game for a long period of time, not only supercell could make money out of this idea (if people want to spend gems) but you also keep the game alive while people wait for new updates. At least they can upgrade their heroes as much as possible while waiting for any major game upgrade to come, like a th11 upgrade.
what exactly do you not understand? Why would you not benefit from this? Would you not be able to upgrade your heroes? Even if you do not want to spend gems you will still be able to upgrade them.
If you wish to comment on the idea, please comment correctly.
Are you serious coreman03? Apply for only 1%? Then why did supercell make the th10 upgrade. Based on what you say that upgrade affected only the th9 players. Will you not be able to increase your heroes aswell past level40? You would also be able when you would reach them to max level40. It affects ALL players. Not just 1%.
It would be nice if a member of supercell could read the max heroes level idea and comment on it. Apparently some of the people that commented don't understand the benefits.
1. Usage of dark elixir in maxed th10 players
2. Money opportunity for supercell (gem usage)
3. Reward the long playing clashers with the ability of a stronger heroe
4. Prestige for super players.
5. Stronger heroes= stronger attacks in random and clan war
6. Keep the clashers highly active until a possible new major upgrade, i.e. New town hall.
Disadvantages some people said:
1. Benefit the Gemmers ( all games that have gems to pay, benefit the Gemmers. Don't Gemmers benefit even now from upgrading too fast? Yes they do, so that argument does not stand.
2. Take too long to upgrade the heroes, doesn't worth it. The upgrading speed can be changed but don't forget we don't want to make the heroes too overpowered. I gave an example with upgrading 0.1 each time and 7 days to upgrade, thus 1 level upgrade every 70 days. It will take you 70 days to go to level 41.
3. Clan wars matters more. I agree, and a stronger hero makes a stronger attack in clan wars. So you benefit, I don't see the problem there.
Please spend some time to read the initial idea on unmaxed heroes and share your thought.
Lets help to make the game better.
please place your opinion if you like this idea or not. Much appreciated if you spend sometime reading it. I know it's long.
I'm a Max TH10, I'd rather sit where I am than have this expectation that to be maxed I now have to spend months and month and millions in DE to move up ONE level on heroes. Upgrading one level is 70 days, which means 70 days without warring. What this idea would do is essentially screw any TH10 who only farms and wars and make it basically impossible for a farmer to keep up with a gemmer.
That's really why there would be rage. You're essentially making it so that farmers cannot compete with gemmers at all due to the time and resource constraints of making microscopic changes. It's not the higher levels of heroes...it's the massive spend to make nearly no change but which needs significant time investment.
So basically you rather do nothing with your dark elixir and all other resources and just stay as you are. I assume based on your thinking you don't even want a th11 upgrade. I am wrong?
anyway if you don't want to waste your time to upgrade your hero to a higher level (not worth it as you say) you don't have to. Just stay a maxed th10 with level40 heroes when others will have level45 and more. I bet you, that you will start to upgrade your heroes once you realize that IT DOES WORTH IT, since the others will be more powerful than you and make stronger attacks.
further more, there will be no max. The more you play the higher the level of your heroes.
I will give you an example so you see you are wrong. I assume you know the game world of tanks of war gaming. Must be one of the most popular games out there. In that game (billion dollar company that knows what it doing) you upgrade your tanks from tier1 to tier10 as maxed tank. The difference between a player that plays the game for 1 year and someone that plays the game for 3 years is the abilities of the tanks crew. The 1 year player would have 2 set of skills on his crew. The 3 year player would have 3 or even 4 skills on his crew making his tank better.
To get the first skill you need let's say 100 battles, to get the second skill you need 300 battles to get the third skill you need 700 battles, to get the fourth 1500. To get a fifth one you need nearly impossible number of battles. You get the point.
Its the same idea here.
And besides, the people that are happy with level40 heroes, like you, can stay with those heroes. The rest that want to really keep playing hard will work hard to get to the next hero level up and keep working hard. No one pushes you to increase your heroes further more if you don't want to.
People like you can just sit there and have a level40 hero. The rest of us will keep battling hard to increase them as much as possible.
