If supercell would decide to increase the maxed level of heroes pass level 40 would you agree? The idea is for 1 level every 70 days. It will cost 10x200,000 dark elixir for every upgrade past level40. For Gemmers it would cost 500 euros for every upgrade. Would you take the time and effort and spend your dark elixir to increase your heroes with such a slow upgrade rate? Do you believe it worth it?

Dear clashers, I was thinking that the game might become boring for maxed out th10 players since there is nothing else to upgrade and thus they might lose their interest in the game waiting for a th11 update or so. Surely the most interesting part of the game is CLAN wars but still we all look forward to upgrade a defense or our heroes and get even stronger. It's a driving force to keep playing the game.Would it not be better to keep those players interested by keeping the heroes with out a max cap of level40?
What are the problems with this idea?
1. If the capacity of the dark storage is 200,000 and to make your hero from level 39 to 40 you need 200,000 dark ( forgive me I don't know how much a level40 hero cost, but take this as an example) that means that to make him level41, supercell needs to make the capacity oh the dark storage more. And every time you upgrade the hero the storage capacity has to be more and more.
2. You need to have a maxed cap on heroes so that you don't upgrade easily to a level 60 King and queen who will be unstoppable.
The solution to this I believe is easy. After the level 40 the upgrades can become 0.1 every time and cost the maximum capacity of the dark storage, thus 200,000 every time. For example: I pay 200,000 and I will upgrade my king from level40 to level40.1. Furthermore the hero will not gain anything (no extra damage, no extra health) until he goes to level 41. Thus, no increase on level40.1, 40.2, 40.3, 40.4.......40.9. Increase on 41. This way the heroes will not increase fast. You will have to really push yourself to increase even more your hero and I believe it would rebuilt the maxed players interest and a way to reward the players that play the game for a long period of time.
In my opinion you can max out everything from zero in less than a year. In this way the people who play the game for 2 or even more years would be rewarded having heroes of a higher level. Imagine a guy who plays the game for 4 years and having level52 heroes. He would be stronger cause he spent more time playing the game. Sounds fair to me.
if a hero upgrade would take 7 days that means that to reach level41 you will need 70 days. So in one year of upgrading your hero would become level 45. In two years of upgrade it would be level50. We can always make the upgrade slower if we believe that 5 levels in a year are too fast. Thus after the level of 50 for example the speed could go 0.05 or so.
Finally what if people spend gems and get faster upgrade of their heroes, and in a year they have level 60 hero? Supercell could make the upgrade not be affected by gems, or cost triple the gems for the upgrades past level40.
Advantages:
1. Keep the players interested. Especially the maxed th10.
2. Have something to use your dark resources on.
3. Supercell can make money from gem purchase to upgrade faster.
4. Reward the people that play the game for a long time.
5. Prestige for players.
6. Stronger heroes means stronger attacks in randoms and clan wars.
7. Not difficult to perform in respect to game programmers.
I would like to hear your thoughts on this idea.
