New Role & tools : WarChief & related in game tools

Hi all,

I believe that given the fact that the wars are playing a continuous increasingly more important role in the game, the clans and the players overall, it would be a very good idea to introduce a new role "The Warchief". "The Warchief' would have specific rights that should also go along with specific "in game" tools available during our wars. Actually, we've already introduced "the warchiefs" into our clan (3 to be exact) that has specific roles that I will describe below in this mail. I'll take only the most relevant out of them when it comes to "new" in game tools.

But first of all a little introduction of the warchief : (i'm a french speaking person so don't kill me for my english!! :) )

"the warchief" (wars managers) will have the hard task of giving the overall strategy or specific guidelines in our wars when it turns out that this is necessary. The goal is to maximize our chances of winning against our most formidable opponents.

and now the specific roles :


1. Plan a global strategy against a specific clan.
2. Can suggest a specific opponent to one of our member.

As there is no "warchief", our warchiefs all has the "co-leader" status wat is not ideal for people who are joining ou clan as new member. It's quite confusing and demands some time to adapt for our new members.

What I really would love to see, are in game tools that enables our warchiefs to manage the wars. We van think about the already existing "message to all our clan" but it's limited to 1 message every 24 hours what is not ideal in war. we can also think for example that we can suggest an opponent to one of our member and for example giving him a little hint in what troops he should take.

the warchief won't be a co leader so from my point of view, he won't be able for example to promote people or exclude people from the clan but will be able to start the war search.

I really believe that having a new role specifically focussed on the wars with additional in game tools would make clash of clans even better than what it is already

I don't believe that the warchief is needed; if you really trust someone to run war then they should be coleader.

the overall idea is to have in game tools to better manage the wars. it's not a question of "who you trust or not"

it maybe doesn't make any sense for the bigger clans with all maxed players that exactly knows what and how but what about the 90% of the other clans?

if you're in war it does make sens to have a specific role focused on the wars that goes along with in game management tools. that's at least my idea

depending on your clan level, the warchief will get a number of in game messages that will be available during the 48 hours of the war. not limited to the 24 hours cooldown.


2. Notes after each opponent


the ability to put a note after each opponent that will be visible for everyone in game. The number of notes could be limited to your clan level.
how higher the clan level how more notes becomes available


3. General strategy & comments


when you click on the war button, the ability to put a general strategy and/or comments that becomes visible to all the members
You can make the option available to a clan reaching a certain level.

This idea sounds good but there's something missing and I think it's that you can't make someone attack a base, If you could lock a war base for a certain account I think that would help heaps... I agree with this 'War Chief' idea! Keep up the good work :),

That was something I was already thinking about. If you join a clan, it seems logic that they can decide how to manage their wars and that you have to follow the rules. The biggest issue is that you cannot stay connected all the time during the 24 hours of the attack period and can miss out some crucial information. Locking an opponent for 1 member would be really great but it needs to be limited. Something like depending on your clan level, you receive a number of oppenents that can be lock @ the same time.

hoping supercell is reading it and working on something similar :-)

This. Maybe just having something where all you can do is leave a note on the base?

notes should be already a nice to have
