Clan Wars Improvements List
1) Display a stat in profile for how often someone has left during war, leaders need better visibility during recruiting. Also, penalty should be greater for hopping during war.
2) Expand duration clan log/old wars available by 1 week if possible.
3) Give us a stat on whos donating to war castles.
4) Give us a stat on stars during wars with current clan.
5) Give leaders the ability to set troops that can be donated during war. basically, block unwanted troops from being donated to castles.
6) Ability to set a timer for clan search during war. This will help manage to being pinned against to strong of a clan, its happening to often now. This leads into my next improvement..
7) Improve the clan search algorithm. I know this is not new, but to make a recommendation for fixing this frustrating problem.
- If an equal (within 5-10% defensive points) can't be found, just time out after X period of time. Maybe 30 minutes, or just don't match it up and say we can't find anyone right now. I rather have no war, than a bad matchup.
- Walls need to be counted a tad higher than they are now, folks know how to game the system. They know that walls and some other defensive weapons don't sway the ranking. Walls ARE defensive, and in fact one of the biggest weapons sitting in play.
- Regional/Limited clan search ability. The time zone thing is a killer sometimes. Can we check a box that says to look for "local" clans only? Its nice to see how battle is progressing, and let us know to change direction based on the enemies progress/attack strategy. If we go during day and other clan is over night, it is difficult to counter.
I am sorry this thread is so long, but these are very important frustration points. If they were mentioned previously, I am sorry but I can't read everyones threads and I am fairly new here. Hope these make sense, I have 1000 other ideas but I felt these were at the forefront. Gaps in clan warring is probably going to be the end for me, if improvements don't come around soon. Its frustrating, and very overlooked by the innovative folks and developers.
Thanks!
