I think having the chat work during attacks would be more of a nuisance more than anything because if you accidentally open the chat it could interfere with your attack.

I wasn't turning it into a debate about ethics, I clearly said it was not ethical "in my opinion." I did not elaborate on my opinion, nor did I explain why I felt this way; so clearly there was no debate intended. It was simply a statement of my opinion.

Clans are not an organized sports team, and there is no "coach" positon, so your comparison is invalid (in my opinion.)

If you read further into my post, you will see that I also stated that this would not work because "live" attacks are not actually live, what the viewer watches is several seconds behind what is happening in the actual attack.
