Where do our resources go?

Hi guys this question is out of pure curiosity and aimed mainly at sc but i was wondering where does all the resources we spend to buy and
upgrade stuff actually go?

I wanna know where the money we spend on searching for a battle goes

gold goes to the goblins and they hide it

elixir the wizard and they make poison with it

dark elixir to the barb king and he gets drunk off it

Back onto the ground for collectors to collect it.

The builders dip their hammer in the resource and furiously hammer the buildings, slowly transferring them and building up it up layer by layer like and ancient 3D printer.

It goes into the loot bonus for being in a league :D
