Members List?

Have tried PM to given GC ID..error message says invalid username...is there a members list that one can check to
verify correct GC ID ?

Um, do you mean you are having trouble adding friends on Game Center? Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, but you need to go to the game center app on your device and click on requests at the bottom, then add friends.

i think what viv meant was, she wanted to know if theres any way to check if a GC nick is a valid one or maybe while you're inputing the name it could do sort of an auto-complete. like when you do a google search and type in the first few letters it has a few suggestions for you. something like that?

There's only a forum community members list Viv. If you type the wrong name into GC it just doesn't respond most of the time. Or of course it sends a req. to the wrong person who probably won't then reply. Occasionally it says 'incorrect name'. I haven't found any way to access their database, probably for privacy reasons.

Hi all, thanks for your answers..Fact is I accepted a friend request she is in my friends bar..want to thank her for helping me ..PM her GC ID it says invalid username..

In that case she probably has a different GC name to forum name. Many people have either completely different ones or have to add something on GC in order not to duplicate. You could try a message using your farm name next time you need help, if she helps again she will see it. That's about all you can do I'm afraid other than checking out anyone that has a very close name match on the forum community listing. Just for the record, you can send a short message when you friend someone on GC. Just erase the '***** wants to be your friend' bit and type your own message, I usually use this to put my forum name so people link the two different names together.
