On a side note- we just finished a war in which on prep a newly accepted mate that was only half way thru TH8 decided to push the button and upgrade his TH. Would have been his first war with us. We discussed why he should not, and after it became clear he wasn't on the same page- we wished him best of luck (no sarcasm) and kicked him. His base somehow held up to 4 attacks in the war before a TH9 had to come down and finish it off.
