Friendly Clan Wars

I have a lot of friends in the game, and I think the Leader of clan should be able to challenge another clan to war. For victory purposes those wars should not count as normal wars, so people don't get fixed wars to improve their clan.

So the challenge should go like, the leader of one clan send the invite for war to another clan, that invite should have specified how many people are they challenging to war (10, 15, 20) and how many of each Town Hall Level they can take to war. Since a clan that has 10 TH10 shouldn't go against a clan that has only 4 TH10, specially in a challenge.

I think it's something that would be cool against friends and For some Rematches. It doesn't need to give away resources since is just for more friendly competition and trash talking to friends and such.

I have seen this idea few times. I think it could be really fun! If SC got on this soon I would love that :smirk: At the time being, though, I think they're busy with the ClashCon update (don't get me wrong, I'm glad they are!), so we should continue promoting this idea as much as possible :) There are some ways it could be exploited, but I'm sure SC would find them and nullify them :)

Ooh I just came up with something... This would also make it so a number of clans could have a custom tournament over a week or so (which would raise awareness for CoC and raise profits for SC ;))! So yeah... I think that it would be tons of fun to have coordinated public events such as tournaments, similar to how games like League of Legends or Call of Duty have tournaments you can sign up for and compete in with a team.

This could be cool, but this could be used to practice war strategies against certain bases at no cost. So, I don't exactly see this happening.

It is a social network game so heck yeah you should be able to play socially with people you actually know. Ignore the upcoming "could be abused" parrots. This sounds like a fun idea for a fun game. Why would SC not want to let people play with friends on many levels? I know somehow some clans do arranged wars...YouTube famous clans always have arranged wars. Not sure how they do it...

Please use Mods to practice wars anyway. At 0 Cost. This would cost you elixir for your troops. And even time. Since you won't get War Bonus, and can't be at war with another clan while you are on friendly war.

Yeah sure it costs all of these but it still can be abused to greatly improve a base to require perfect deployment in many cases.
