My clan is destroyed!!! I want my clan back!!!!

Hello, I was a clan leader till yesterday. Yesterday by a miss tap I promoted one of our co leader, and he kicked everyone and my clan is no more but I still bookmarked my clan. IT WAS LEVEL 6 CLAN!!! However I made an another clan by the same name but its LEVEL 1!! Now I want to request Supercell and ask you guys, is it possible to get my clan back??? Or make my new clan to level 6??? I worked on my level 6 clan for 8 months so it means my hard work in coc life. Please help me!!

RIP Level 6 Clan - sorry, but SuperCell is usually steers clear of any CLAN politic stuff, like this. They would view a leader kicking everyone as a leadership decision. Your decision to allow this person to become Leader had consequences.

Accidentally demoted yourself from leader and promoted someone else to leader?

Sorry, friend, but I think your level 6 clan is lost, unless you can somehow convince the person you made leader and who kicked you and all of your members to let you back in and be the leader again...but I'm getting the impression they're not going to be too open to that request.

Good luck, and hopefully lesson learned...be very careful when giving another person leader powers.

I was thinking the same thing. You have to confirm a promotion. If you mis-click after that, it was your only warning. I feel bad for you, but you'll have to start over. This isn't something that support will help you with, because it falls under clan politics.

I was the leader but its not my decision as I was not leader at that time and I mistakenly promoted a co to leader who had a villain mind and boom

Because if he was already a coleader, why didn't he kick everyone when he was promoted? Why wait for so long? He was waiting until you accidentally misclicked and promoted him to leader, and then kick everyone?

What happened here is that you promoted a total stranger who asked for the leadership in exchange of "help, experience, donation of high level troops, etc".

We see this in the forums everyday.

OP, there's nothing SC can do. Just learn your lesson and move on. And please, now that you have a new clan, don't promote stranger again!!!!

It still requires two clicks - one to promote to leader, and a second to confirm it. It also requires a significant lapse in judgment to have promoted the offending player to coleader in the first place. I can't imagine that anyone on my team would kick everyone out and destroy the clan for absolutely no reason at all, let alone someone I'd promoted all the way to coleader. You're welcome to open a support ticket in-game, but I have my doubts that they'll be willing or able to resurrect your deleted clan. Certainly none of the forum mods or forum readers can do it.

If he was such a villian, then he would have cleared out most of your clan long ago. Seems like you just promote random people to co-leader. This is a lesson learned tbh.
Next time read who you promote and especially don't promote people who join your clan a day or two ago, no matter what level they are. There are some cruel, mean-spirited people that play this game. Be wary of them.

Mods to help you?? How would a mod help you?? You will never get the clan back, unless the guy gives it to you. It's his now. Whoever is the current leader, owns the clan, period. Either try to get the guy to give it back to you, start a new one or join a new clan.

You should have at least had communications with him through KiK or whatever messaging app you guys used.

Agreed. Either what MissJay said, or it wouldn't surprise me if he was letting someone access his account to do attacks in war- and that player shredded his clan.

Well maybe he wanted to kick him and did not read, but still dont promote a co if you dont trust him completely and by that I mean that you would give him leader any time and be sure to get it back. A co is a leader with you. An elder is someone who has been in the clan for a long time. I have 1 co (one of the 4 founders when we have been rotating leaders every week) and then there are 2 elders for handling visitors. Accepting new members is leader decision. That is all we need.

if u gave a coleader the leadership by mistake, then there is no obvious justification to make him kick all members even if he doesnt want to give u back leadership.

Check Clan Chat subforum, occasionally there are people looking for new leaders for established clans (why they dont promote an existing co. Is beyond me but it happens). Maybe you can find a L3-4 clan and not have to strat from scratch or just join an existing clan and be a member without the headaches of leadership.

Actually it is not a bad idea to have a double confirmation when promoting someone as a leader. Even better, make it visually different from other dialogs and make it like claiming a statue in Boom Beach, a timed button. The same when a leader leaves a clan.

These are critical operations that are not done often. Making the confirmation better would prevent many errors and would not really affect usability.

This. Promoting to elder or co all give much the same confirmation screen. And who reads confirmation screens? Promoting to leader is the only one of these that is rare, irreversible and potentially catastrophic. It's good design to make that confirmation different to the confirmation you get for every other similar action.

Dont listen to the haters, this kind of accident can indeed happen. I know you gotta click three times yet still it can happen. Very unfortunately you had ill chosen to make this guy co in the first place but even that can happen. It's the internets, ppl who seem perfectly reasonable can flip on you like a switch or have friends who grab ahold of their game and wreck havoc.

If I were you I wouldn't have left the level 6 clan. You would have been able to try and rebuild it, but now you have left you won't be able to get Leader again :( Good luck with your new clan. :)

It can happen other ways as well, if you have a mini in some random clan and you have two iPads open at the same time. If you meant to have your mini leave his clan but you actually had your main leave his clan that you were leader of. Just imagine, two iPads open, on your main you are also looking at the clan roster, you thought you were leaving the clan of your mini account which is also open.

This I agree with. More clicks, no. Boom Beach style 3 second pause timer, this would be fine.

OP, how do we even know that the clan is even yours? You gave us a story, the clan name, clan level, and a new clan that you're in, but the fact still remains, we don't know you're the real leader through this information.

For all we know, you're a non leadership member from another clan trying to usurp leadership of a different clan for personal gain.

I also am refrained from believing that how you portray yourself from your OP that you're of leadership quality.

I find that you move on from this situation if it's true and work on another clan or become a leader in another clan, but not make the same mistake again.

Then again.. How hard is it to accidentally promote someone to a leader just to have them kick out every one.. Hmm 😏

That was your first mistake.

Promoting him to leader, and confirming the promotion was your second mistake.

Your third mistake was in thinking that you could simply undo your previous mistakes as if they'd never happened.

I actually did that once, back in the day. Even then though, we didn't just promote random people. The co who got lead gave it right back. I learned from that mistake, and I've never repeated it.

Had the same thing happened to me though, that happened to this guy, I would have accepted fault, and move on.

Been said plenty of times but bears repeating: Don't give out CO like candy. Assuming you are telling the truth, what would have happened if the guy you promoted to Leader was not CO in the first place? He'd be CO and you could've easily demoted him and rectified the mistake.
