Bruh, a big part of 8.5 is putting most of your elixir into walls (once u get lab, camps, dsf, and sf up) and u can't get skulls with elixir, it starts at Legos. I'd say hogs to 4, golems to 2, king to 10, pekkas to 3, AT LEAST half your walls to 8, then go.

I personally don't suggest using elixer for walls at 8.5 because of all the othe upgrades you need it for.

Golems, hogs, king. No point to going 8.5 with those absolute essentials not done.

For the guy who said PEKKAs to three, just don't GOWIPE at TH9. GOWIWI, GOWIVA/GOVALO, GOHOG, and GOLALOON are all far more effective three star strategies.

Like most people said dark troops are a must. Also unless I'm seeing wrong your archer towers are not maxed for TH8.

If you have a lot of time to play, I definitely suggest golems to 2. Will save you a ton of time later. PEKKAs need to get to 3, should be fairly easy. Would be nice if king was maxed, you'll have more time to focus on the queen later on. Level 4 minions are probably the least important but are recommended since they're only one level away from 5 which is max for TH9. I got my minions to 5 ASAP because I love farming with BAM.
