If it's me and I find a trapped townhall it does depend a lot on the base. Usually though I just drop a few giants to distract the teslas and then take out the TH as per usual, a 140k league bonus is still damned easy to get.
I found a trapped townhall just the other day in Master I.
Ridiculously it was a TH8 who thought it was a good idea.
Being a TH10 I thought a lesson was in order, I guess it was a risk he was prepared to take.
I do it myself for the hopeful defense win

I never trapped my town hall until recently, people were dropping a couple of archers on my town hall and while they waited they decided to attack. Now with it trapped they don't get that chance.Quote:

Unless someone comes in with an incomplete army, odds are your trapped base isn't going to do anything but delay the inevitable. You could argue causing them to invest more troops on the TH will cause them to not be able to effectively level you, but in the higher leagues, they'll almost always test your TH with a single troop, and if anything pops up, they start their attack on the opposite side of the base. And I do the same. I know you've needlessly stacked up your defenses around your TH, so the rest of your base is going to be weak and I'll guarantee at least 50% AND likely walk away with most of your resources.
I'm not saying there isn't valid reasons to trap your TH. The fact there's a lot of botters at TH9 and TH10 makes trapping it worth it sometimes. But personally, I find the trophies come naturally while farming, and I'd rather keep my resources than lose between 1 and 8 cups.

I trap my th when I am pushing trophies... No other time. And so far not a single person has "steam-rolled" my base. I have had people attack opposite of the th, but my infernos guard it pretty well. People get the th all the time, but they have to commit to it. If they don't commit to it... well I have an awesome replay to share in my clan chat...
Apply cold water to the affected area.
What's the big deal, complaining here? Bait out the traps then ten barbarian and an iron fist later, the league bonus is mine.
Not to mention that queen tend to outrange the tesla anyway.
