maximum image size

Hi Folks

What is the maximum size image i can post? Trying to make a recruitment thread and preview fails with an indication that my post is too large?

The image I am trying to post is 692x323 pixels and I am copy/pasting it into my post. The reason for copy/paste is that image upload is scaling it down to a thumbnail size.

I don't know how to convert inches into pixels, but you can post an image (about) 12*60 inches.

I'd upload the image to imgur and post it like so

I'm a TinyPic.com kind of guy, not sure if Imgur has the same feature, but it has a build in resizing as you upload. I select "Message board size" and it works every time.

Never use the built in image upload feature, it's not very good.

When I click on the image in your post, it opens it up to a decent size. ;)

The problem is that I can't seem to embed it at a decent size...

It's scaled like that because you used the forum attachment option.

Here it is if you have it hosted, and use the img tags..

I hosted the img on my own server, and used the following bb code:
[img]http://www.blahblahblah.com/blah/SamCroRecruitment.png[/img]

You can display the complete bb code by using the [noparse][/noparse] tags surrounding the bb code you want to display.
