how is that even possible ?!

Hi all,

I'm currently trying to push to champ, and slowly getting there by sniping and trying to 2stars weak TH9.

It's been a couple of weeks (yeah I'm taking my time :p). When I snipe TH, sometimes I may take one hour or two.

Let's say I've probably seen a thousand and more TH during my masters league sessions. The more trophies I saw was probably 45 and that's quite rare.

So how's that possible? (and cherry on the cake, I'm TH8, he's TH9...)

Since the matchmaking update the trophy range which someone can attack another player is widen. The reason you lost so many trophies is obviously the difference in cups/leagues between you two.

Thx manyolo, I agree but then again, vilain is Master 2 when I'm Master 1, and even when matchmaking finds me champ 1 ennemy, never I've seen 50 cups!

The highest you can lose is -59(NOT REVENGE) So you should be happy you didn't get that...

It's weird but as a th9 it seems like anytime I've come across a th8 in masters or champs that had more trophies than me the offerings were big, like 40-47 trophies. I came across a th7 in champs and got 45 trophies from that. I've probably only come across a handful of these bases though so I chalked it up to coincidence.

Townhall level does not matter at all. Only thing that matters is you were about 300 trophies above him.

As you get higher as a th8 the chances that you are worth lots of trophies greatly increases. You are more likely to be found by a th7/8/9 then a th10. The majority of bases at your trophy level are th10 which means you will be found by someone a fair bit lower then you and be worth lots of trophies.

Even though I'm a th6, I know the reason cus I've been doing it alot myself. After I get th sniped, I revenge the user for 40-50 cups even if he is a th5. It INCREASES amount of trophies and loot you get if you revenge someone. In normal matchmaking, you will be provided with lesser stats then that from revenge on the same person.

No this is not true. Revenge cups/loot is calculated the same as if you find the same guy in matchmaking
Besides that, revenges in Master are no possible.

@OP yeah it happens it sux. The highest I've seen in matchmaking was a +56 but an impossible village to attack for me (I was Master1 he was Champs2). He was lucky XD
