This would be easier to swallow if we didn't know that SC made millions of € every day. Every day. I'm sorry, but with an income like this, there is no excuse for terrible customer support. The OP gave much higher marks than I would have. Although, any time I've reported a terrible clan or player name (has to be very racist for me to do so) it gets dealt with in 24-48 hours.
The review is basically a childish nitpick of the game.
When you really take a step back and look at this mobile game for what it is, it's a mind blowing accomplishment.

I can't see one piece of childish nitpicking, but a thoroughly thought through breakdown of how Hills see's the game, and not one iota of the normal main n groan that would normally be associated with a thread like this.:facepalm:

Still need to disagree in two points, as it seems you have not taken into consideration that the animation has changed, it is either more work put into it or the speed dialed down, never the less attack moves are much less jerky and you can really enjoy the replays more, I'd say visuals 8/10
Overall 8/10 as this game has kept me interested for more than two and a half years now, no game has managed that previously. :D

The visuals and sound are ok but I agree that they can do a better job there .
Guys, you have no idea of how a Customer Suport System must work.
Do you think 16 million petitions a year is too much? IT'S NOTHING!
Serious companies, Cable companies, Cellphone companies, Security companies, Public services companies, etc etc etc, they receive 16 million in just one quarter of a year.And plenty of those companies give a really good customer service. And they don't even make half the money SC is making with this game.
But they deliver a great customer services, with waaaaay more requests per day, and waaaay less money.
I have news for you guys, SC is a multi-billionaire company. They are not a garage-company.
There's no excuse to justify the terrible Customer support service that SC delivers.
It's true, it's been worst in the past, but it's still horrible today.
Link me to five companies like that then.
Also, SC has to deal with some pretty outrageous complaints. "This guy haxked me ban him." "This guy attacked me weird ban him." Just being on the forums I can only imagine how much worse these support tickets get. Serious companies, such as examples of what you listed have to deal with people that are at least the age of 18 (I would assume), so that right there is a huge flaw in your argument. Two completely different sides of the spectrum here bud.
Well, this is my score card (everyone should make one!)
Visuals - 8/10
Excellent graphics, very fluid even in older devices. I give you an 8 because of tiny things I don't like:
The horrid fluorescent green grass that cheapens the base.
The builder huts remain the same from TH1 to TH10. They should automatically change when the TH is upgraded.
And the lack of night-mode.
Sound Effects - 10/10
I love them! I'm used to play all my video games with the sounds muted. But not with this game. Sounds are necessary for me to play this game! I'm completely lost when I have to raid or attack in war and for some reason I have to mute the sound. I need to hear the archers moaning! The barbs screaming, the CC troops coming out!
Music - 3/10
As you see, I divided sounds and music. And I hate CoC music. It's hedious. Next.
Gameplay - 7/10
This is what makes you addicted to the game, you can raid bases, or attack in wars, of farm, or design bases, etc etc etc. But after a certain time, you start to feel that something is missing. That's why I give you 9/10. Hopefully, with the next game-changer update you'll reach 10/10 again!
And you lost 2 more points because of bugs that keep piling up and you are doing nothing, and the fluffy bunnies you allow. Those 2 things ruin gameplay.
Support - 2/10
I don't give you a 1 just because it's better than last year. It was a 1 last year. This year, improved 100%. That means, you are a 2 now. Keep at the same rate and you'll have a "decent" support service in 10 years.

Not bad. Now that you'll introduce a game-changer update that will keep us players busy for a while, use this year to fix all the bugs it has now (Clouds, AI, matchmaking, etc), take a stand against m0dding, and really enforce the rules. And for the love of God, have a decent customer service!!!
