why do people complain about loot in th9?

Hey im th9 farming in Gold 2. Around 1.6-1.7k mark
I use 8wbs, 18 giants, rest barch, one hero up atleast , max cc wiz, heals and poison
In gold 2 every 5 nexts i find loaded th8s offering 1.5k+ de, 250k g/e
Most of the times i use only one heal!
I net so much! I dont sit for long sessions but this army cooks very fast and i raid every now and then through out the day
Also im a strong th9 with legos and seldom get raided, only th snipe, i use the hypercube base
You can even raid 8.5s to early 9s with low queen and level one bows. Gold 2 is loot haven!
Not to mention the amount abandoned bases where u can sneak 2k de off drills!
Also im Indian so my day is opposite that of most americans ect
I dunno why people complain so much!

I think most players complain because they don't now how to loot properly.

Anyway I have seen such a complaining thread long ago, so I don't really see the point of this :smirk:

I complain about the loot I find as a TH9. Because my TH10 main farms far faster and more efficient than my TH9 alt :(

Loot at th9 is without doubt the best/easiest in the game.

You can easily demolish th8s, most th9s, and th10 dead bases offer huge loot.

I had all my 1m + raids at th9.

I farmed in silver 1 - gold 2.

I think G2 is not that great for farming walls. Your army is not that fast, it takes 23 mins to build so you couldn't do more than two raids per hour so with your calc you get like 1M loot per hour.
But with BAM you can search after 10 mins and BAMing in Crystal III easily averages 3M so this is the best spot IMO

Gotta take into account that in silver/gold they will be sniped 99% of the time.

In crystal it's inevitable that he will get demolished relatively frequently, especially as they break their shield multiple times per day.

This isn't my opinion but a fact as I was once where they where and gave crystal a go for farming.

I think people who are "new" th9s are more apt to complain since th8s see really good loot most of the time. I've seen countless th8s come into th9 and complain about loot. I am certainly not saying all new TH9s say this but I've seen a lot complain initially and then change their tune once they're use to TH9 farming.

Yeah there is higher chance of getting destroyed by a th10 but you can get atleast 500k-1M more loot in crystal III which makes up for it. Also you can get sniped for the loot bonus in crystal but in silver there are mostly farmers who doesn't care for the cups/league bonus and just want the loot so there's nearly equal chance that you'll get hit hard.

I would highly disagree here. Because In the 22 mins you spend training the gib arch and get maybe 3 / 4 storages since only heal can be trained in that time but I find dead bases worth 800k and massive amounts of de within 8/10 mins and get a bonus after that as well.

Then there's snipes every 4 mins so free bonus there as well.

Th7 and th8 really dont even need to farm because the de needed are so negligible that is funny to even talk about.

In th9 you need 3.5m de and it is a challenge.
If you can upgrade one hero non stop you are good.
If you can upgrade both heroes + de troops in LAB you are excellent.

Also in the first week of th9 you simply cannot expect to farm much de. no spell and no hero?
personally I farm all de no hero till heroes lvl 20/20 then one hero until now.
In th10 you dont need to farm again because one hero in one week is easily done.
Also I dont see a point to farm lix,gold in th10. any additional wall or defense will increasae the weight

I'd rather snipe in high leagues than use Gibarch to farm DE in Gold. You mentioned that you have to keep one hero up, while in high leagues, I can keep them both down constantly and still have excess DE to upgrade dark troops.

Also not everyone can get max wiz in their CC.

I've never had any reasons to complain about loot, regardless of th lvl. Farming g/e, I do it in Silver 3, and I barch, boost, and profit quite easily.

I actually experienced the exact opposite. When I was in low leagues, I got raided every time I log off even with an exposed TH placed outside. No one was interested in the league bonus back then, if I had a significant amount of loot, I'd get raided. Now that I'm in high leagues, even if my storages are full, I'd only get raided one time per few days, other times I mainly get sniped because many people would be happy to drop a few troops or a hero and get 100k G/E and 500k DE or more on one simple snipe.

I'm a TH9 and always found good loot in Gold. Recently dropped down to Silver and it's even better!

It's great to finally have maxed defence.

I admit it's disheartening to not be able to get 6 stars in war anymore (impossible as far as in aware). But being TH10 is great. Infernos are great. They are like having two mike tysons as guards, no one bothers you anymore!

TH9 is so easy, you don't realise until you come to TH10. 5 stars in a war isn't great as a TH9, imo. It's not bad but I wouldn't be happy with it. TH10 is a whole different beast.

But at the end of the day it's a game and I couldn't imagine not wanting to 'complete' it.

Today is great im crystal 3.
Had over 10:raids 300k ge and 1 k de.
Had one RAID 500k g and 300k e, and 1,3 k se.
All with barch, no queen, all with bonus, going with 4 zaps for lvl 6 dedrills deep in base.

I've been farming all day in crystal 2 and I've not had any huge raids. Jealous of all yours!

A clan member has also shown 5+ replays do attacks in crystal 3, huge loots all of them above 700k!

People will whinge if the loot was amazing everywhere. I'm a mid range th10 with awful heroes n almost maxed defended, I farm in master 2. I find half million raids each time I raid. Then the loot bonus kicks in.... Ignore the whiners. They're the ones that want free co...

Because they are farming too low of a league silver/gold and don't know how to attack/farm properly. Masters at TH9 is where you should be, it's all about that DE.

I farmed TH9 in silver mainly and it was amazing for loot.

The screenshots show me in master 3 league getting only TH sniped while offering 300k~500k gold and elixir and 1.8k~2.8k DE.

I did this as an experiment with my TH8 to see just how far I could accumulate loot and still get TH sniped. Turns out pretty darn far.

I did eventually get full attacked, but I was pretty much asking for it. Normally I could get TH sniped 90% of the time.

At the end of TH8 I went a couple of months with all three storages maxed, losing minimal resources due to all the TH snipes.

For the most part I totally agree. Then there are some days like today where every raid I do seems to go south.

But in all honesty that's usually on me when that happens, time to take a break or try different attacks at that point.

I eventually upgraded to TH9 and my experience didn't change much. Still basically 90% TH snipes. I did most of my elixir building upgrades using just loot from collectors. Upgraded AQ up to level 4 using DE from drills (didn't attack at all for a month or so).

Now I'm on low gold leagues to farm elixir for lab upgrades and getting full attacked way more often here.

Oh definitely. Makes it a lot more likely that a lower TH finds you, often from a much higher trophy level (ie. Champion attacking someone on Master 3 for 1 trophy).

I don't experience many th9 complaining about loot...not sure where you are finding these guys. The only th9s that I have seen complaining about loot were either in the wrong trophy range and not willing to find the right one or they were rushed and still haven't learned the arts of Barch and gibarch with boost sessions.

So what does your experience in Masters have to do with Crystal? Absolutely nothing. You could have just easily been talking about Gold league and equating it to Crystal.

It goes off topic but personally I see no point adding inferno tower other than enjoy maxing.
nobody full raid me more than once per week so adding IT is not any impact.
Still I think the only motivation for those upgrading defenses in th10 is maxing base and trophy push not defending loot.
your loot is safe with th9 defenses.
i dont like max th10 defense and trophy push (off course I wish to be no1 global but i cannot do it and i dont have any interest to reach for example 4800 cups) . I just like wars and enjoy farming, practice attacking.

This thread makes so much sense for my scenario right now. When I just turned TH9, i thought about quitting this game...thats how tough farming was. But then I struggled and got lvl 6 giants...now i am enjoying farming xD

As for the raids, you'll find lower level th10 with 400k each upwards, plus the loot bonus. Happy days!

Lol, I used to be 1 of those people, and I know their pain, however, im sure the people complaining r those sitting at around gold 3 or silver 1. Those 2 leagues may be good at th8, but th9 is a hole different beast, I've found the silver league 2 and late 3 are great places to farm gold and elixir and also easy to maintain the range, but the best all loot league is definitely gold 2 (late) and gold 1 (early ish)

As a TH9 farming walls and heroes, silver/ gold is the best for me. Doing super queen for DE and Barch for G/E, and finding loot is way faster than finding snipes in the higher league.
