I got th9 just a couple hours ago, and ive already built a few buildings. I know also to wait for xbows, because it will put me against higher opponents in war. ALSO.. i know a good loot gaining method, just not sure how hard 6mil is for almost every upgrade... other than that, any tips?

Get your golems to 4 asap, and start farming your heroes early. They will be very handy when theyre 20ish and the only thing you have left at TH9
Prioritize DE, farm with this one resource in mind only. Get your hero lvls grinding from as early as possible
Go to masters 2 / 3 and start sniping early on.

I am able to keep both heroes down and do 3-7 lava walls a day. I leave a builder free for walls always, 2 for heroes and 2 for defenses.
I hope that everything will finish at around the same time I guess, 3 months for max th9 (I became th9 the 1st of July) so a total of 6 months to max th9. I used to gem a lot (spent around 700€) but now I don't gem anymore apart from 1-3 boosts everyday.

For the record: I was in a hardcore war clan until the beginning of the season when I joined a farming war clan so I can max my th9 asap.
Upgrade everything. specially defences plus give some attention to your camps, those extra 20 troops are essential. Enjoy the journey! th9 is pretty awesome
i would also recommend getting your golem to L4 and upgrading your heroes as you go along.
The 4.8k per day really helps towards TH9's huge DE demands!
Everyone has given some good advice. I sat in Gold 2 as an early TH9 and actually am still in Gold. I find plenty of DE from TH8's. I used GiBarch and GiArch to get DE. The sniping works to but when I was in Masters I had to next a while to get a TH snipe so I dropped back down.
Upgrade Lab, SF, Dark Barracks, and also Camps need to be a priotity. Go for the elixer and DE. You will need elixer more than anything a the very start.
The 2nd ucan get lvl6 giants, they help get into a base. other than that lvl 6 loons and lvl 5 hogs help alot for war.
I'd also reccomend getting king and queen to lvl 10 quick, as they get strong enough to help.in war then.

And I'd suggest listening to everyone's building priority's, as they all seem great (drills need to be a high priority if u wanna get ur hero's upquick)
As mentioned think about DE early. However, for the first few weeks I'd focus on getting camps and a few defences up. It's hard to save up 6m elixir for an upgrade with th 8 defences, not to mention dark elixir.
How hard depends how much you're playing, but x-bows make it a lot easier to hold on to resources. Also timing war loot and a few goblin missions right can help a lot in getting to those first expensive upgrades.
Max DE drills first; finish your elixir upgrades as fast as you can and then use that resource for walls; leave a builder off for walls (trust me it won't delay any progress contrary to what many would tell you); always be working on heroes every moment possible and keep them both down as often as you can (earlier the better since the cost is low); do your most expensive DE lab upgrades as early as you can before hero costs skyrocket on you (especially if you have issues farming a lot of DE); barching C3-M1 is fine since cook time is low and there are many dead bases with full drills with a DE loot bonus' on top of that.
This rarely works. Once you get to TH9, you have a AQ that requires DE, a King, and additional troops. Golem generally gets left behind and you end up being one of those TH9s with bows, strong defenses and yet unable to attack a base anywhere near your weight in war.Quote:

Best tip for th9 is to go to Masters3 and start farming dark elixir asap. You'll need MUCH, too MUCH of it I guarantee you that. And you will NEVER have enough.
