Th9, 3 star issues! Confessions of an ex gowiper, help me fellow 9s!

2golems 3lavas rest loons you ll get 3s all the time!
Its just about base selection and timing but it really aint hard...

Next easiest is golowiwi if ads are in core.

Goho i never masteres but i tend to get 5-6 stars every wat with golava and golowiwi

TH9 and TH10 3* every war with GoWiPe or other GoWi__ armies in my two clans. High weight bases, some anti 3* if facing a good clan. Every base has weaknesses that can be exploited. I would never want to play with clashers who say that _____ army can't and shouldn't be used. That just shows a lack of strategy and knowledge. Of course it is great to learn and practice with more troop varieties, you will be a better player for it. Just don't refuse to use any combo because fanboys tell you it is bad.

I'm leader of a strategic war clan that i intent on trying to 3 star bases. Firstly.... its not easy.

Tiny variations or being one pixel out with a drop can turn a 3 star into a 1 star.

Shattered LaLoon is tough. I've one starred many a time in the high 90's, often because a lava hasnt quite popped (i tend to try and get 2 ad's for that strat and use 2 golems). But on the right base its devastating.

Every base is different, so it's vital to have multiple attack strats.

Gowiwi is devastating on open bases. GoVaLoon on large cored bases that have all 4 ad's in it. The most fluid... but needs good planning and good execution is GoHo.

If you've 20/20+ heroes, have 1 maxed golem and 2 level 4 golems... a th9 really struggles to stop you. Take out the gb locations and goho will get you a 3 star more consistently.

But look at every base on its merits.

If you can scout a base properly, and if you can execute your strategy well, you should be 3 starring around 1 in 3 attempts. Any more than that, you're doing incredibly well.

Good luck, and avoid the 2 star spammed gowipe desire! It wont work and is nowhere near as satisfying as picking a base apart.
