Hi everyone
i m a TH8 with maxed defences and walls, busy upgrading my troops so i can upgrade to TH 9. Then question is what to do with myself while troops are being upgrade. wasting alot of gold.
Also i dont want to start TH upgrade before my troops are all maxed for TH 8. any suggestions on what to do?

You are wasting to much time at th8, start the upgrade to th9
If you plan to go th9, is it 8.5 or 9.0?
My advise is, only need to upgrade troops you plan to use. Eg. Golem, lava, pekka? For me, I'm maxed th10 but Valkyrie level 2. Doing other research. I'm not saying Valkyrie is bad, but I haven't use it before.... Yet.
I am very much the kind of player that waits to max my base before I upgrade, but lab work is absolutely not worth sticking around for. If you have nothing to spend any of your resources on and all your builders are idle then go ahead and upgrade. There is no advice we can give you for how to continue to enjoy your time stuck at TH8 if you can't spend your loot because there is nothing for your builders to do. You will need over 1 billion resources for the walls alone at TH9 and 50 levels for your heroes. There is a very good chance you will be able to catch up on your lab work at TH9 while you work on those upgrades.

my outstanding troops for upgrade are:
ligthning spell
poison and e q spells
goblins
Wall breakers
healer and valk
Attack bases that have DE or Elixir and ignore bases that have a lot of gold!
Remember to time the TH upgrade in such a way that you have full storages and full mines/pumps/drills when you reach TH9 (it gives you a better start on the TH, and ensures that you have to struggle less the first few days)

Well i have decided to max all my troops on TH before upgrading to TH9. Decided to use this time to improve on my war attack strategies , which will hopefully help me in future. Also filling dtorages with DE

I'd say just move on to TH9 before it all finishes. You can continue lab upgrades there while also using your gold for new defences, walls, and upgrades. My personal rule for any TH level is to upgrade as soon as all upgrades for any resource type are complete.Quote:
