Global Chat

Is muting the only option we have when another player is bothering us ? What if they're being inappropriate or making derogatory remarks ? Can we please have the option to at least kick them off the chat ? Reporting does nothing, only if a bunch of other people report the same person then obviously it does help. Though this isn't the case most of the time..but I can see the negative side of this idea. Maybe people will get carried away with this other option ? I'm not sure how it would work exactly, I'd just like to be given a little more help when it comes to players on Global Chat bothering me or other people.

Muting is the only option available, and honostly that option is good enough.

Removing people from the public chat sounds like a solution but it will be terribly abused by any hothead or funnyman. If anyone would be able to kick anyone, you would be the target aswell and get kicked from the chat all the time without notice. Kicking powers issn't a privilege normal users should have, and there's simply too much chats for moderators to control. So the best solution right now is for people to be able to mute abusive chatters, and just focus on the people acting normal in the chat. Most people bothering you will eventually leave if being ignored long enough, so don't give them any attention.. they're not worth it.
