Friend vs friend

have u ever wanted to attack ur friends base just to see how well u would do against him for fun? Me and my friends always want to attack each other to see who can beat whose base. My idea is that ur allowed to attack ur friends for fun. The rules are
-no loot is gained
-no shield is given
-only the attacker looses elixer for troop making
-the defender can watch the replay
-can attack each other as many times as they want.

This can be used to help war base testing.
This idea is just to help players show mistakes in bases from other people.
Now ask yourself, would u want this in clash of clans?
help me get this idea in the eyes of he Devs and get this idea implemented into the game.

The potential for abusing this feature is why it won't happen....have your friend copy the war base of your opponent, attack as many times as you wish until you can 3 star.

Practising attacks does indeed have some benefits, like testing out your base and see how it stands against certain attack strategies and army compositions.

However, there is a huge downside which overcomes the benefit from above.. the downside is that this strategy could be used to practice attacks on the bases of your opponents from war. People could copy the base of their opponents from war and practice on it until they achieve 3 stars, then head to the war and do the exact same attack on the same base.

The fact that this idea could be used in such a way makes it impossible to add. Also, this was suggested many times before this thread so please use the search function before creating a new topic and reply in an old one which you find adequate to your idea; it's of no use to have 50 threads rather than one but popular.

Not really ruled out, it's not on the list so people can actually create topics about it.

Here is a question for those who reject ideas on the basis that they can be abused: what about features currently abused in the game? Is your position that we should be comfortable with modding, for example, but vehemently oppose friend vs friend, because such a feature can be abused? I mean, either we show zero tolerance towards abuse, or else we accept it. But to accept it moderately makes little sense if any to me.

You're speaking about modding as if it is allowed =/

This is not the case, modding issn't allowed in the game and people still get banned for it. It's the tracing of these abusive players that poses the challenge here. If people would have a MOD tag in their name it would be easy to find them, but unfortunatly they don't have a tag or banner saying they are modding =P

Just because a low percentage of players is using unsupported methods to play the game does not mean friend vs friend battles should be allowed. what you're doing is very black & white thinking, these cases can not be put in the same pot. No one here supports modding, especially supercell.

Modding is not allowed in theory but is tolerated in practice. I believe that Supercell has the ability to detect modders but is deliberately doing nothing about the issue.

As far as i know they don't tolerate it, they just dont go witchhunting these people like the spanish inquisition =P

You can't do this during war. If the attacking account is in a war, then the option to attack your friend or clanmate can be greyed out. This is just a solution to this that I though of while reading.
