My take on this, if you were really going to quit you wouldn't make a thread, you just wouldn't open the app any longer or you would delete it altogether. You will be back if you ever leave in the first place, which I don't think you will.

If I was in your position I wouldn't quit. COC is so much more than just trophy pushing, especially as you're a leader, you can have so much to do with you account. To me personally, clan wars are always no.1 priority, so if I was a leader I'd put my time and effort into managing my clan to be better and stronger. If I don't need the resources, I'd just train expensive troops and donate them to my clanmates. Also I like helping new players, so I'd probably start a new clan that mainly recruit players with TH5 and below and help them with my high level troops, and teach them useful strategies for wars and farming. Just to give you some ideas.
I'm honestly done. I will be keeping eye on the clash con update if nothing changes I will remove the app. The point of my post is to let Supercell know how there customers feel as for any chances they might listen. My whole family plays and love the game they watch me in the clouds for weeks months and ask all the time how do you do that. Well i've hit that wall and had enough. It's boring.Quote:

You're not alone mate. There have been countless threads lately from other high cup players lately. I dropped from 4300+ to farm the new walls, i'm almost done. Once they are maxed I will just play casually for wars. Cups are a waste of time for me also and a lot of my friends...Quote:

I feel for you OP! I am leader of a lvl 7 clan that has been around over 2 years. We keep losing our top guys to boredom. I can't tell you how many th9 and 10s we have lost because they just quit playing the game. I am endgame too. I have most defenses maxed and lvl 40/36 queen and king. I love my clan and am trying to hold it together but there is nothing much to do after a certain point. I have spent money on the game as have most in my clan, including the people we have lost. I'm going to wait and see what the clashcon update looks like because it sounds like a good one. If not, I will join you in a new game. Give it a couple weeks and see what the future brings. Th11 and clan tournaments will keep the paying players around. If it is not "game changing" supercell can have the free players and the people who spend money will go elsewhere. Take a two week break and see what the future brings.
I can respect what you are saying, I was just coming from the angle that posting a thread still shows that you care, and if you care then you will still play. Just wait till after Clashcon to see what the update holds, it's only two weeks away.Quote:

Also would appreciate advice from you titans. Won't the new cap on cups at 5000 eventually address, or at least partially alleviate, this problem? .... In time - maybe 6 months, 1 year.
clearly the current system is simply a logistical tradeoff between A cup offer and B length of time in clouds, and you can't increase A without increasing B UNLESS you increase the number of bases in titan league (or reduce the 6 hour limit 😱).
But it looks to me like there are people flooding in to titan league (from cups required to make aust leaderboard) and it looks like the global leaderboard is finally bunching up, with the legend cup resets we have had.
i am going to do my push to titan in nov as part of forum elite V... I hope that my base will be one more base contributing to reducing the problem 😜 lol
i have done 'soft' pushes in the past, and by soft i mean i don't do sessions and i don't tolerate clouds. A few months ago i went to champ 1 and stopped as soon as the clouds appeared. But it was so much easier to get to 3800 in august than it had been to get to 3200 in january. Imo there are lots of people heading your way guys.
