I just focused on DE and ended up finishing walls first.
What I did was max walls first then start the hero grind. Max lavas are a beauty!
I just hit th10, I had maxed heros and about 75% lavas completed
Been there, done that.
My advise to new TH9/10, priority is DE, not gold/elixir. Gold/elixir will come at slower pace automatically. So instead of maxing walls in 3 months with level 15/15 heroes and start to write in forum what to do... Then spend the next 6 months to get heroes to 25/25 very bored grinding. Total 9 months.
Better start upgrade both heroes non stop for 6 months. Whatever extra gold/elixir, you can use for upgrades and dump into walls. Instead of doing walls in 3 months, you spread it out to 6 months. Priority is DE.
1) 200k/200k/100 loot, skip or next
2) 80k/80k/1800, attack!
also notice the time difference saved.
I only focused on de but finished lavas in two months regardless. Resources just come so fast in masters that you can't help but max the walls.
There's a good chance you'll finish walls before heroes.
I finished my lavas at 15/16, but I was also focused on them whilst heroes were down.
If (when!?) I do TH9 again I would definitely focus on heroes first. From what I've read and seen high level heroes make such a difference, especially in war.
Gold and elixir are so much easier to get than dark elixir, it makes more sense to focus on the scarcest resource.
You cannot compare lvl10 walls with 30/30 heros.
lvl10 walls are super easy in compare to 30/30 heroes.
You just leave a builder free and barch in silver and you will have 250 lvl10 walls in no time.
for heroes you need 3.5m DE and 292.5 days upgrade.
walls are 20 times easier than heroes.
Also whats the point of max walls? very little benefit. but 30/30 heroes is beast!
I focused on dark, gold and elixir will happen on their own during raids.
