Lightning spells after September update

Hey guys, I couldn't find it in search results, so here I am creating my first thread, please excuse me if it is a repetition.

Sometime back, this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZQCH57_JmA was posted by COC facebook page regarding the pattern of bolts of the lightning spell.

Since the September update says that the bolts now strike closer together, what has been the change in these patterns?

PS: I have a rushed TH10 against me for war today and he has 2 level5 air def stuck together separated only by a wall. I am wondering whether both of them can be broken with 2 lightning level5 and 1 EQ level2.

The effect of strikes striking closer together is that they are more likely to hit your target. I am unsure if that combination will take it out. Could be close.

I haven't made a single lightning spell since they introduced poison.

I've got max level in the lab though. It may become useful again some day...

I am 90% sure it would take both out.

Maybe 2 eqs+2 zaps?

Second EQ spell will do 1/3 the damage of first spell so it will be kinda useless. 2 Ls, 1 EQ will do the job.

1 EQ + 2 Lightning can take out a max airdefence. Thats wad ever top player who use dragon rush will do. They will take out the first air def then use 1 lava + 5 loon + rage to take out 2nd air defence nearby and youre screwed

Doesn't show exactly how did the 1st and 2nd lightning drop. the positioning of bolts can help if we want to destroy 2 buildings, whether they should be dropped exactly in between them or elsewhere.
