Why is he weighted higher?

So we just started a war and we put this new guy in. He's our #8 and I am our #9. I cannot seem to figure out why he is weighted higher than me.

All my troops/spells/royals are higher than his. Anyone have an answer?

They're working fine for me the pictures. I'm not sure why your base is ranked lower than his, yours actually looks more advanced than his. Keep in mind though that walls don't change your ranking all that much in clan wars. I have higher walls than almost everyone in my clan but I'm still not ranked higher than some of them.

Edit: Actually upon looking more closely at the bases, you have a low level AT and WT, where he has both fully upgraded. That must be it. Towers>Walls in terms of ranking.

Check his normal (non-war) base. Does he have a 4th air defense? 6th archer tower? 4th wizard tower? x-bow(s)? That base might simply be an old TH8 layout that he never edited and added the new buildings.

Woah, idk. That's weird.

Thats strange indeed. He doesnt even have an AQ or even the fourth wizard tower, he is missing defenses thus he should be ranked lower. Check his normal base and attach a screenshot here.

This happens when the person has all the items AQ, 4th wiz tower etc but has not checked his war base hence having that old layout

I would guess he is building xbows and hasn't put them on his war base. Do I win?

Troop level factor in to war weighting as well, my guess is he has a higher level troop average than you. I also think he may not have everything placed on his war map yet.
