Just Received this Message from Supercell in Regards to Hero's being used in Clan War

Heroes upgrading in war is literally killing my love for the game. This better be true :(

I think that SC already has that future for the new big update! :D cant wait now!

I so want to believe this. That and new dark troop for TH10 would make this my favorite update since I started BY FAR.

I sure hope he means on offense but is it possible we are assuming too much and that support is referring to the current ability to deply an upgrading hero on defense during war?
