New Bomb and Defending options

I was thinking the other night wouldn't it be good if there was a decent way to defend your base.
Idea 1: Poison bomb
A bomb that would kill off troops over a number of seconds. Basically this bomb would explode leaving behind an area covered by poison that would kill off ground troops(only ground troops) The damage and lasting time is to be decided. This "bomb" would be created in the spell factory and you would only be able to have two of this type at a certain time. (You could also make it so this bomb/spell would have a favourite target like Giants or something)


Idea 2: Real time defence
This would be a mode added into the game so that you are able to change to a defence mode while in game. Once in this defence mode you are able to be attacked this would mean your able to see all the players that skip through your base. This would show you what sort of players your up against. This new mode would be especially good for the higher cupped players.
