Chances of Getting Diamonds At the Mine

I'm referring to using shovels. I thought the chances are higher but on the average of using 10 shovels, I just get 1 or 2 diamonds, sometimes none. The max was 4 on a good day. What about you guys? :D

Usually 2-3 diamonds when using shovel for me. But not every time I use 10.

For 10 shovels i get 1-3 diamonds :)

I use TNT or dynamite if I have it 1st before the shovel. Just my superstition that it works for more diamonds. :)

thanks guys! i dont think shovels are all that great at getting diamonds, maybe more ores but not more diamonds. for me at least.

seriously? is there any interval between using TNT/dynamite and shovel? lol i'll try that next time. maybe the mine needs some warming up :p

Hey Ms Pickles. I call it the shovel warning. I'm warning the mine the shovels are on the way so cough up the diamonds. And yes it's back to back no interval time between blast and dig.

I don't seem to notice a difference in how often I get diamonds between using shovels, dynamite, or TNT. It just seems pretty random. Maybe the odds are higher when you use a shovel because you always get 4 ores, but maybe not.
