Looking for Opinions

Hey I'm just looking for opinions and advice from other players. I'm level 28, I just bought the juice press. I do not have the mining open or the fishing boat yet. When I level up next, I can buy the ice cream maker. Since money is still so hard and slow to come by, which way should I go? I have the big shipping boat, and I fill crates for xp, but I'm not sure if I should save for the mine, the fishing boat, or the ice cream maker. I have been selling in my roadside shop more (as advised by most of you seasoned players). Thanks once again for your help and wisdom, it really does help make the game easier! :)

..my advice would be to do nothing but make expensive produce and sell it in the roadside stand.
Stop filling boats unless you are in the middle of captain achievement.

Make cakes, juices, cheese etc and sell at highest price till you have enough to buy machines.

i'd still say this - spend diamonds to get tom to fetch the most expensive item(s) then sell them full price. also plant lots of wheat so when expansion items drop, sell them for full price too. you should have a tidy sum in no time.

If you are looking for extra dosh, the mine gives the most options, as you get lots of Xp points and the coloured vouchers for truck orders requiring bullion bars, so you will also need smelters as well asap, plus dynamite, TNT, and shovels by the bucket load.. Then once you get your jewellery kiosk, you can make jewellery, which is just about the highest value items you can sell... The negative side is that all take a very long time to process, but the rewards are greater... The ice cream machine is a lot quicker at making cash for you in reasonable amounts, and in a shorter time...??? I would leave the fishing till last, as it's more a fun item, and not a great deal of gain to be had from this side, but you do get free diamonds for catching fish, but they use up your valuable vouchers very quickly... I personally went for the mine and five smelters as quick as I could, then ALL the machines next, then went for a full compliment of animals, because you get all sorts of great goodies when you feed and whistle them in... After that, it just gets harder, lol, but it will keep you busy... You just do what you think is right...

I would suggest saving for the ice cream maker, it will bring you more XP & coins quickly then the mine or fishing.

Then- knowing what I know now- if I were you I'd then save up and get the fishing boat- then the mine. To use the mine effectively anyway you then need smelters also.

I'm level 60+ and am at a point where I hardly use the mine/smelters/jewelry anymore- except to get the odd voucher from jewelry orders- which I then use for fishing anyway, LOL.

Definitely This ^. I would do the same, for the time being don't do truck orders and solely sell most of them on the roadside shop. Do this until you make enough money to get the ice cream maker. After that you can go back on your old routine. Rinse and Repeat every few levels.

IF it's a free diamond, I think it would be a okay but I believe it's not worth spending real money into this time, personally that is.

And of course, I never spent real money on this game.

Although it might not appear so, you're actually still in the 'fun' part of the game where there are things to go for. I'm at level 39 and have not opened my mine, but already have more money than I know what to do with. The ice cream maker is fun and can make you a lot of cash in your shop (as can the juicer). After about level 34 (the strawberry level) you seem to make money 'by accident' as it were. You'll have plenty to do the fishing boat, and if you like the fishing that'll be a diversion, but to me it doesn't really feel like part of the game. In all the posts I've read on this forum I've never seen one that said "gosh yes! Go for the mining it's great and really worthwhile!" So I'd stick with the ice cream and jam. But you'll get to the point where you get more satisfaction out of filling tricky ice cream and jam crates for friends than you do from selling it, sooner than you realise.
