Level 4 Pekkas at TH9

Town hall eight and town hall nine have always had the same level Pekkas. This is unfair, as town hall 8 gowipe and town hall 9 gowipe are almost the same strength, which causes TH9s to use gowipe less in clan wars. Everyone wants three stars in war these days, and giving TH9 level 4 pekkas would give another possible three star strategy to town hall nine players. Also, if you think about it, not many players have level 4 pekkas. If a player has level 4 pekkas, they are most likely going to upgrade them to level 5 soon after. Also, if Supercell ever wanted to create a level 6 pekka, they would not have to shift everything down. All they would have to do is change the upgrade prices or give us more storages to be able to upgrade the pekkas to level 6. With all the new level 7 troops and the level 5 dragons, level 7 lightning spells, etc., I believe SC will eventually put a level 6 pekka in the game. Whether TH10 gets to have this troop capability or whether SC waits until TH11 to bring out level 6 pekkas, they will eventually do it. Moving level 4 pekkas to town hall nine players is needed in the game today, as Gowipe is the only strategy people use that involve pekkas, and we all know Gowipe is dying. A lot of clans even BAN gowipe from being used in clan wars, as it is not likely you will be able to three star with it. I know I can not be the only TH9 who believes in this, so make this a highly popular post and lets get SC to give us TH9s the level 4 pekkas we deserve! It isn't right that a TH8 and a TH9 should have almost the same level gowipe! Lets bring GoWiPe back together!

Here's the issue I have with that...I want GOWIPE to die at TH9. Why? Because it doesn't require a lot of skill to use. I already have issues enough with hogs and witches being used against TH9's in my clan or Lavaloon etc coupled with the already available lvl 5 wiz and lvl 4 golem. If you put lvl 4 pekkas into TH9, noobs will be able to noob attack even more successfully. The amount of available troops in TH9 as well as new spells is just right with balance. Now if they want to put level 6 pekkas in the supposedly forthcoming TH11, that's a different story. But lvl 4 would be OP at TH9 in my opinion, because Pekkas are ridiculously noob troops to use at TH8/TH9 anyways. They are really a good strategy troop at TH10 once maxed but seriously, if you have to GOWIPE at TH9 you probably shouldn't be in a good clan anyways.

The archer queen and level 4 golems is what makes th9 gowipe stronger than th8 gowipe. But the problem with pure gowipe is the lack of defense targeting troops in the attack, like hogs and balloons. I don't think level 4 pekkas will help making it much of a 3 star attack, just like level 4 dragons didn't make mass drag any more successful.

Okay, well what if they nerf the upgrade from 3-4 to where level 4 pekkas is still not a perfect 3 star strategy, but when used correctly they can work? because there is no strategy with pekkas except for gowipe and it is mainly used at TH10. Some TH8s use GoWiPe but drags is still a viable three star strat at TH8 so not many use it.

Yes, but another thing this would do is give TH9s the ability to donate pekkas (assuming the clan is level 5 or higher) to TH10 players, as they would be maxed. Even if level 4 pekkas don't make a huge difference to gowipe, i would still like to see another lab upgrade for the pekkas. I mean, it sucks not being able to upgrade them and having to upgrade them 2 times at TH10. Kind of like preparation for TH10.

Well that's what I mean....why not just get good at the ones that are most effective? I can GoWiWi or Strategic Hog someone effectively and so that's what I do. There's always going to be an attack type that works best, so find it, go with it, and hope everyone else sucks at it. I get what you're saying, but GoWiPe is reserved for TH10 for being effective (and not the best there either) but I don't see anything wrong with it not being good at TH9. If there's a lot of effective strategies then you lose your defensive power which is why I'm ok with it being hard to three star a TH9 with GoWiPe because I don't need that happening to me lol.

I would Love to have a Level 4 pekka at TH9
I currently use a gowipe with level 2 golems and level 3 pekka's and often fail miserably against a decent TH9 due to the fact my golems are stuck hugging a wall and my pekka's get shred by the tesla's and or xbows

That's why you could try something like GoWiWi or at least use some hogs too. TH9 defenses are too good for gowipe even if upgraded to lvl 4. Most you'll get is 2 stars. Sure a lvl 4 would practically guarantee the 2 stars but its just never gonna be a good 3 star attack. I've been there myself, had to move away from it entirely. It's not a bad strategy to use if you just need the 2 star for the win.

I support level4 pekkas at th9. A maxed th9 needs to have some ammo to damage a th10 when matched with one. th10 would always have a level more of wiz, pekka and golem, even when you would allow it. (along with freeze spell, 20 extra troops, 5 in castle) The transition of pekka3 in th8 -> pekka4 at th9 -> pekka5 at th10 would be smooth.

There is no balance, th9 0 pekka upgrade and th10 stuck with 2 levels of pekka! Pekka lvl 4 is totally useless at th10, it's a waste at th10 while th9 are struggling with the same pekka level as th8.
