Let's not be silly. The heroes aren't 20/20, the all of the account troops aren't maxed. The base attacked was not maxed, but neither attacker's base. You complain that the attacker's troops and base isn't rushed and therefore the attack is invalid? It's silly. I have three star attacks every war with a multitude of different attacks. Once again why would a non maxed th9 attack a maxed th9 when there is a th10 that could defeat it for three stars? It's simple logic. Sorry you can't understand it.

And I agree with you, the attackers should attack slightly below their number to ensure the maximum amount of stars in war.

GoWiPe in th9 with level 3 Pekka's roasted by these Teslas? No thanks, when I can have max witches, or GoHo, or max loons with lev2 lavas etc. Only upside of GoWiPe is dark elixir economy.

I agree that gowipe versus a maxed th9 will not result in a three star every single time. Not even close. A maxed th9 would have impressive walls for a level 3 pekka to eat through before getting to teslas. The point is simply that midrange townhall 9's, which is the vast majority of townhall 9's, can be defeating through the easier to deploy gowipe.
