Well, the attacker also has th8 defenses, so what's your point. The reality of clan wars is, if you are not number 1 on your war map, you should not be attacking laterally. This is due to everyone having 2 attacks. It only makes logical sense. Sorry if your clan is inefficient.Quote:

That is the entire point of attacking in clan wars. You are not supposed to be lateral attacking an equal base to yourself. It prohibits your mixed clan from getting the maximum amount of stars. Yes I can three star a maxed th9 base with my troops. However if a townhall 10 can attack it more easily with similar heroes but higher troops and an extra spell, why should I waste the attack?Quote:

Um wow talk about false advertising. Th 8 defences smh. And even if ur attacking low u still shouldn't use gowipe or gowiwi, ur just being cheap and not useing an actual 3 star war strategy. Clearly your clan doesn't know what it's doing or just doesn't care about wars.
Actually we win at a very high rate. On rare occasions we will match with a min/max clan that has multiple defenseless bases that will beat us. It's been over 6 months since another clan got more three stars on us than we got on them. If we lose it's generally to min/max clans that have us tremendously beat on heroes. Gowipe and Gowiwi can both be valid three star attacks on the right base. Gowipe obviously you have to be better offensively than their defense as compared to other strategies. However gowiwi is great versus a lot of open bases that can be treacherous to air and difficult to hog.Quote:

Overpowering someone doesn't mean it's the wrong war strategy. Just doesn't prove it to be a good attack. It definitely still works in situations to get an easy 3star when your clan needs it.
It is still a three star strategy non the less. It just has the least chance of getting a three star of any of the other popular strategies available at th9. It also has the strongest chance of a two star out of all of those strategies. This means that it is the best strategy for players who cannot risk a 1 star due to having nobody to clean up after them. In 50 v 50 wars I would highly suggest trying a more advanced strategy. In a smaller war depending on your clan make up. You may have to decide your strategy based on clan ability.
Congrats. A th9 with Max troops and 20/20 heroes cleared a terrible anti 2 base with not even 15v15 heroes, th8 defenses, and mainly lvl 7 walls. Gowipe sure is op.....Not in any way shape or form a base any anti 3 strat could clear with no effort whatsoever either. Gowipe must be back and still effective since it can clear this one terrible base though.
