I added someone on GC who claimed to be level 64 according to her signature. But when I added her I don't see a level 64 on my list and suddenly a level 14 appeared mysteriously. I don't remember having any level 14 players on my friend list so I unfriended her and the level 14 was gone. Tried a few more times just in case it was a glitch on GC but it was the same. Pretty sure she was lying but I don't care why she did that. Has this happened to anyone of you?
It is a stupid thing to lie about, because when you add someone their gc id will show on the friends list and you will know what lvl they are. On most players at least? Typo maybe? As long as she didn't claim she was lvl 64 through messages also.
she did! we were supposed to trade actually but i couldnt find her on my list so i called it off. how was i supposed to put up something for someone whom i could not even identify?Quote:

Unfortunately I don't know how to prove someones lvl, and I am pretty sure the only way is you add them and see their gc id and lvl on your friends list. There are a few threads of this occurring. Mainly in the bugs section since people then end up getting stuck with the wrong farm. SMH. I have one friend that probably does this since I see her farm level change from high to low. It doesn't bother me since I don't interact with her much, but just saying some people do that.Quote:

Yes that's for sure! It seems kinda complicated too, because when you add someone it is through their gc id and not their device. And they must have two different id's to have two different farms. Itchy stuff... Is the farm name/gc id showing the same on both of the farms in the friends list then? Lately I have had some low lvl farms that I don't recognize, but I think that is the bug people is talking about - strangers showing up in the friends list.Quote:

The thing though is when you transfer farm to new device, your old device still retains some info that can get mixed regardless if you have separate ID and accounts (personal experience here). So yes, it gets a little complicated if you're not careful. I wouldn't risk switching back and forth as the risk of losing a high level farm just isn't worth it.
As for just randomly picking up unknown friends, yes that's definitely a bug. Picked up a few after fishing update but have since been removed when they did the quick fix. There's still quite a few bugs floating around but there's hope around the corner. Teaser is showing we have update coming soon. Along with update will be bug fixes!
