Army Camps?

How much weight do army camps add? Im toying with the idea of having all lv6 army camps, or even only 3 camps max, 1 not built, if it reduces enough weight.

They probably add offensive weight but that's hard to understand/calculate
They won't get you higher in the war map

I'm pretty sure they barely add any weight for war.. either way why wouldn't you max your camps? It's for offence and not defence.

The more troops the better!

It honestly seems like offense isn't a huge weight in wars. Me and someone in my clan are both maxed out defense wise, I have better troops, he has more lego walls, and he is rated higher.

Build camps asap! Offense > Defense for war.

It adds 0.00001 to your war score. Offense really doesn't count too much, aside from your hero upgrades, but they are classed as defences in war. :thumbsup:

He is rated higher how? Supercell doesn't show offensive weights. The only display is of purely defensive weights on the war map. So someone could be much higher on the defensive war map than you, and you could still weigh much more than them in overall weighting.

The army camp will almost certainly contribute to your clan's total weight (combined attack weight + defences) which is how your matches are calculated, but it won't make any difference on the position on war map as this is based solely on defensive strength.

So this would essentially only help if you had all max th10s with 3 army camps?

If so, theoretically you can get perfect wars because you would be matched generally lower overall, but no one could 3 star any of your team. This might call for an experiment. Anyone willing to start 10 New accounts for the sake of Clashology?

Whatever they weigh, I guarantee the extra troop space you get from maxing them is well worth it.

The whole point in reducing your war weight is to be a more effective attacker by sacraficing defense a bit. By reducing camp space you are making yourself a much less effective attacker.
