Redesign Clan War stars?

I have encountered that some of our members have over 150 war stars in their profile. When the actual war day, the member just attacked lower TH than his for many wars. I find this unfair because this shows that the player does not know how to attack their own TH level, for example TH7 attacked TH5/6.

I was wondering if SC could redesign the war stars for each TH defeated.
For example TH10 could be firey red like the TH colour.
TH9 could be black colour.
TH8 could be gold colour.
TH7 could be silver colour.
And so on...

This will make us easier to check if a player wants to join a clan and see if he is eligible to join or not.

Like a quote says, you have to work hard to earn a good life. So I hope differentiating stars would show the quality of our COC players.

The only problem I see, is would you base the color on what TH he mostly destroys? Or show 150 different stars?

This may not help that much....what if I got 150 war stars as a TH7 attacking other TH7s, then became a TH8...


There's a simple solution to this problem, which is basically making it a rule in your clan that any player attacking a TH lower than theirs needs permission from a leader first. If a player violates this rule, you sit them next war. If you've warned them and they disregard you, you kick them out.

New TH8 earned 150 stars from TH7 bases is okay and understandable.
However I do not like to see if a TH7 has 150+ stars but only know how to attack TH5/6 (mostly TH5) with lousy troops and techniques?
Sometimes I tend to assume that these members used to attack the lower bases to earn more stars but more stars does not mean anything if we havent see how he deployed the troops (especially wizards in one place and died instantaneously bcos of mortar).

I want QUALITY stars, not QUANTITY stars.

I think this could be interesting but would need to find a way to display it within the limited profile view without looking tacky and crowded...

Then when they join ask them what they typically attack with in war and have them post some replays before beig able to participate.

Plus when I asked why they cant attack their same TH although they have dragons (assume they are Th7), one of the reasons they gave me was "I don't feel confident attacking my own Th level".

Many of the members are IRL friends to me so I can't simply kick them. Some willing to learn how to use dragons, some are stubborn to use dragons but lousy combination of 20 balloons and 3 dragons.

But really, I do wish to see SC redesign the CW stars using colour codes for different THs.

I used to be in my sister's clan...I couldn't kick people because they were her friends or her husband's friends. This is a game and not worth losing real friends over. However, not kicking people who need kicked...eventually the good players sick of losing will leave. It is exactly what I did and all the good players left with me. We passed up our clan in war wins and are a higher level than they are.

Jeez, I am at 774 war stars, I would hate what you think of me cause of that stat...

The thing is, there are all sorts of reasons why people have x amount of war stars. I was a new th7 when cw started and I had A LOT of wars as a th7 and th8, thus a lot of 3 star dragon attacks. My mini(a th7) get six stars nearly every war attacking th8s, he has a ton of stars too. What if clans use an offset? People will have tons of stars because they are attacking low because it is the strategy. I usually still get 4 stars per war going after th10s now. That is 12 stars a week. The war stars stat shouldn't help you pick your clan members, it doesn't tell you anything. Neither does who a person attacked in the past. We have a th9 who is the designated th8 killer. his job nearly every war is to kill the top 2 th8s so the th7s don't fight over them, and waste attacks. You would be lucky to have him, he is loyal, donates, and always uses his attacks. But if this idea were implemented, he would look like a terrible clan mate, although that couldn't be further from the truth.
