Is it time to pull out the drags?

I just got to 2000 trophies and I don't know a good trophy army. I fit 200 and have lvl 5. I don't know if I should pull ot the dragons yet?

pekkas and dragons are good if you have spare elixir

I've used that stratey but I only have lvl 3 spell factory. If I use it the the 2nd closes mortar will 1 shot all my archers.

I am at 2600 trophies now and I use a fairly cheap army that's been working for me (granted I have maxxed troops.)

From 2000-2300

10 Giants
2 Minions Level 4 (to get rid of barb king)
8 Breakers
40 Gobs
30 Barbs
Rest Archers
2 lightning spellls

From 2300-2400

10 Giants
2 Minions
8 Breakers
12 Wizards
1 Healer
1 Golem Level 1
Rest Archers
1 rage 1 Heal spell

From 2400-2600

8 Giants
14 Wizards
2 Healers
1 Golem
Rest Archers
2 Heal and 2 Rage spells

*I tried to always have my Barb King (9) and Queen go into battle (6) as well and when raged by the TH it really helps

The only limiting factor are your resources. As a TH8 you will run out. I went hunting with maxxed resources and although elxir is draining slowly the golds diminishing quickly due to many "skips" and spell costs. I spend 100-150K searching for battles sometimes as a TH9 VS a TH10 is a tough battle.

Thanks for the army, but could you tell me how to use it

The th5 that hit 3k mainly got 1star and attacked stuff outside the walls.

I saw a TH 5 with 2k trophies

Use the minions hit take out the barb king if he can be lured out. Drop Golem away from giants and other troops so splash doesn't kill them all together. Drop few archers, drop all giants, drop breaker and wizards followed by Healers. Try eliminate closest air D and use heal and rage spell. If done correctly you should be close to center and drop another heal if necessary and rage the TH. This is for the higher trophy range. Adjust accordingly in the lower ranges.
