apparently b&e isnt the slowest item for me, not if i price them like 199 instead of 201 coins. somehow it gives people the impression that 199 is really cheap but in actual fact its only 2 coins away from the max price lol. for my case, roasted tomatoes and goats milk stay on the longest.
can't blame people for making use of the b&e to create fake ads because the game is made it in such a way that the ad gets pulled down immediately once the advertised item is sold, and that you only get to create an ad once every 30 mins. if they had shortened it to maybe 10-15 mins then people wont be so "desperate" for their ad to stay as long as possible.
sorry to say that you'll never see me selling ice cream, jam, cakes, juices, not even buttered popcorn despite the fact i make lots of these stuff. i'd rather use these items to help my friends :)
Oh, didnt see that part
I think people are more likely to visit a 199 b&e ad, because it is different from the usual 201 b&e that gives an impression of a empty store. Maybe it gives an impression that you price items differently than full price also. At least I tend visit more of those b&e ads that's priced differently. I am also more likely to visit a shop with an ad for 10 b&e priced 2000, than 2016. Now we're on to psychology lol! Anyway, if you advertise only one or two bacon&egg full price, it's more likely to get bought, because you don't always want or need 10 of them - or have priority to store so many in your barn.
