Too Many Bacon And Eggs In The Newspaper

Hi There,

My newspapers are full of bacon and eggs and I would like somthing else for a change
I cant find what I need when I need it.

yeah it kinda sucks

Do people actually buy those bacon and eggs or what?:confused:

I think people sell them so often because they are easy to make and they sell for a lot. I rarely waste an ad on them though because I know there are already so many in the paper.

Honestly I like the Bacon and Eggs on the DD. So keep them coming. I'm sure Boroyob will all appreciate this too haha.

Anyways, I can understand why it can be annoying for some people but personally I have no issues with this and I can understand why some people do advertize it.

Say you are putting stuff on your roadside shop and you advertize that particular item. Someone comes in, buys the one you advertized. You'd have to wait 30 minute for a free ad. During that 30 minute, some of your stuff may be sold or may not be sold depending how long it has been there in the DD or if your neighbors came.

Here is another scenario: you are putting stuff on your roadside shop, and you advertize the bacon and eggs. Of course nobody is going to buy that (there are some that do), so you will be on the DD for 3 hours max. Thus you get better sales as more people will come visit your farm and look at your goodies.

Advice: Just because you see a lot of Bacon and Eggs doesn't mean you should just skip their farm and wait for the next DD refresh, sure it can be annoying when you visit that farm and all you see is just b and e and time wasting. There are times when they also sell goodies.

I've visited many farms from the DD that had Bacon and Eggs advertized and guess what I saw? Quite a few sold expansion materials or other goodies. So it's definitely worth visiting farms that have b and e advertized.

Of course, eventually Greg or Tom will come and buy bacon and eggs from your store if that item is not sold within 24 hours. So that's one way to do it. Put it on the shop and give it to Greg.

And yet...another B&E thread. There's more of these than B&E itself! :D

So, thought I'd test out theory that behind some b&e adverts there were some decent goodies lurking...I may have been unlucky, but they were all just b&e! One farm had a stall full of full price b&e, and was asking for boat help to fill 3 crates of brown sugar...not a chance! if you have time to make endless bacon & eggs you have time to pop a few brown sugars into your mill haha!

same, maybe i've been unlucky too but i've never come across those b&e sellers stashing away expansion items or other goodies underneath their b&es. its ALWAYS just b&es, eggs and bacon, or if im lucky, roasted tomatoes lol. i will only buy expansion items at default price or less and so far the people who're selling them are usually low level players (since they dont need so many per item to expand so they'll always have extras) or simply the people who price all their items at default. i love those! lol
